This is such a beautiful State Park. The restored buildings and grounds are truly a treasure. There's so much to see at this park, and it's a lot larger than you initially think. Beware of the bears though. There are lots of signs about them at the park, and a Park Ranger even warned us about recent bear sightings the last time we visited.

Great Park. Lots of tables for sitting, plenty of area to walk around and some cool historical buildings to check out as well.

Beautiful! Just unable to enjoy a Desert Park that close to home anymore. Wish we could have enjoyed it longer, we were aggressively encouraged to vacate early by Bees. I didn't notice the humming from the tree's until they started to land on me. I got the girls calmly back into the car and on our way without any great pictures or getting to explore this beautiful Park. Oh yeah there's a ⚠ Black Bear warning ⚠ posted at the entrance.... Hummm.... I gotta wonder why... 🐝

A bit out of the way, but an interesting look at a restored 19th century Army settlement. The buildings are mostly open and allow you to see inside. Nice small museum on site to give a little bit of the history.
