Climbing to EBC was my dream therefore after Covid lockdown I started searching on the internet for local Nepali companies nobody knows better how to arrange things thanks locals, right?. Footprint Adventure was the most professional and quicker in answering all my queries be it email or whatsapp therefore I booked the trip with them. To be honest I couldn't have done a better choice when choosing the company. Everything was perfect starting with airport pickup, nice guided city tour in Kathmandu, flight to Lukla and then of course the entire experience on the mountain. We were a group of 3 and we had our own guide, Lok, and two porters, Kamal and Suresh. They were supporting in every matter. Made sure we eat and hydrate enough, that we had the proper pace, we take rest when needed and even carried the small backpack of the girls when they got tired. The accomodation and food was the best you could get in the villages and the entire trip was a success. I highly recommand Footprint adventure. You will not regret!
I learned about footprint by searching in the internet. They were so kind and supportive as soon as I connected to them. It was such amazing experience trekking with them to EBC. I felt I’m trekking along with my family. Management, executive director and my guid helped me to have a wonderful and successful adventure to EBC. Moreover they helped me to have a wonderful stay in Pokhara along with my family. I definitely ll keep my friendship with this amazing team and highly recommend them to everyone.
I went for EBC, Gokyo lakes, and cho la pass trek in early April 2022. The arrangements made by Footprint were on point. I really liked the hotel they booked for two nights in Kathmandu. The arrangements throughout the trek were sorted and they were open with accommodating any kind of flexibility or detour. Sharan, Madhav, and Ganesh were pretty responsive and helpful. My guide Raj was superb, he had good knowledge about the whole terrain and kept me informed about it throughout the trek. He made sure that we trek safely and have fun at the same time. He made sure that we stayed in good lodges throughout the trek. I would recommend everyone who has an outdoorsy knack in them to go for this trek once in their lifetime, the terrain is mesmerizing and one will get an amazing experience. Looking forward to coming back to Nepal again for another trek with Footprint and Raj. Cheers!
Company is the best among the 2,500 trekking adventure companies in Nepal run by a highly experienced staff licensed by the Government of Nepal. Guest and Guide Porter is a good company for everyone who can do the same for everyone. That was my second trip with footprint adventure. And it won't be my last. Thank you so much for this professional organization- again. Also a big thanks for my guide Nima and my porter. Both were very nice and helpful. It was a hard journey, but it was worth it. Beautiful views and kindly people in the guest houses. Unforgettable. The hotel Kumari in Kathmandu is for me a super choice. It’s centrally located and you can do a lot of great things on foot. The owner and the staff were always very friendly. Hope to see you next year!
We had the incredible opportunity to climb Island Peak with EBC Trek and Cho pass. Nima, our guide sherpa, knowing his native Khumbu valley first hand, offered us the privilege to spend time with his family and friends. This was our first trekking/climbing in Nepal so we had endless questions and concerns beforehand. Sharan was always available to resolve them and flexible to adapt the trip to our needs. Once we got to Kathmandu, the whole team took great care of us, we felt home thousands of kilometers away from it. They even prepared the most thoughtful party to celebrate our successful summit! Thank you, Footprint Adventures, for making this trip so spectacular and special!
I recently completed an Everest Base Camp with Footprint Travel and it was an amazing journey filled with many ups and downs far more ups. Our journey initially ran into some hiccups because of poor weather at Ramechapp and Lukla. One of our guides, Ramesh Thapa, managed to find and organise an alternate means of getting us and other groups to the Everest Base Camp trail through a bus and an off-road Jeep ride. Though there were initial problems with a lack of information of regarding what to expect from the trail going forward, this was resolved immediately once pointed out. The remaining trip, while challenging, had amazing views when weather permitted and an amazing friendship within a tight knit group guides and other guests. As a solo traveller, I was initially anxious about undertaking this trip but this was quickly resolved by Dipak Adhikari our other guide who recognised this and accompanied me throughout the trek and even after while exploring Kathmandu. He allowed me to feel comfortable and we exchanged stories and experiences about life in Nepal and Australia. It’s safe to say that I have a brother in Nepal for the rest of my life. The organisation by Ramesh, Dipak, and the remaining Footprint was excellent despite the best efforts of inclement weather in the area during the first week. It was truly an unforgettable holiday and I look forward to returning to Nepal in a year or two to complete Gokyo and the 3 passes!
We came to Nepal to do Everest Base Camp Trek, but with footprintadventures it was more than just a trek. From the very first second that we decided to go with footprint, Madhav took care of every individual wish and need that we had. We were picked up at Kathmandu airport and were immediately welcomed into the footprint family with a great dinner together and traditional Nepalese dances, which you‘re even invited to join ; Ramesh was our guide and was the perfect combination of professional, kind and fun. we felt safe and comfortable during every step of the trek, learned a lot through the knowledge of Ramesh and never failed to have an enjoyable time together with many laughs. Chhiring was our porter and we have nothing but respect for him, carrying the heaviest luggage but always being the fastest with the brightest smile. you‘ll learn to love him. : the trek was an experience of a lifetime and you will soon realise that the route becomes the destination, rather than the big EBC rock ; even though it was Monsoon season we got to see most of the beautiful mountains and incredible sceneries. back in Kathmandu, the whole team made us feel like home, including Ganesh, Sharan, Ramesh, Abhishek, Mina and more. we spent some happy last days together. we leave footprint and Nepal with our only thoughts being: when can we go back? thank you for everything <3
This trek, has Been life changing! We wanted to go to lukla but the weather was to bad for flying. Our guide Ganesh handled the situation beautifully! Instead of waiting and waiting, we changed it to Annapurna, and What a trek that was! They explained everything you want to know, as Well as having a lot of fun, doing so. The porters are nothing short of AMAZING! Whenever I needed help, they were there and made my trek even more enjoyjable! I Can only recommend Footprint Adventure! I Will definetely be back again with some friends this time! If in Nepal, go with these guys! You Will not be dissapointed and you Will enjoy so so much!!
