Love the renovations. Love the made in Canada signage. A bit pricey but it’s to be expected when groceries are crazy high across the board.nManagement has done a great job.nNice staff, clean and well organized.
This is the only grocery store serving a community of many seniors.. the prices are ridiculous and I actually laughed out loud when I saw what they expected people to pay for their poor products. I just had the displeasure of returning chicken I purchased for my dinner last night.. I drove home directly from the store and opened the package and was immediately greeted by a stench that made me sick. The chicken was beyond rotten….on closer inspection there was no expiry date and no date on when it was even packaged. I asked for a manager and was told they were not available for me.. they then went on to tell me that someone else packages their chicken and I will have to go to them.. as I was at the return desk 2 other customers chimed in with their own rotten meat story.. this place obviously serves the lowest quality cheapest meat and marks it up beyond what anyone should be paying.. and why not most of the community is stuck and have no choice but to shop there.. I’m not interested in dying so I will be staying away.. you should too
A few items. A few weeks ago I went to buy a sandwich for lunch and found the 'marked down' sandwiches are the same price as the fresher ones.nTheir 'Grand Re-Opening' was today, absolutely zero deals for the customers. We did however buy a ceasar salad that was full of bad lettuce we're returning it. No caps for the jugs of water refills. No managers there to find them during your grand re-opening? It seems the grand re-opening was to install self checkouts.nPrices are absolutely exorbitant, much higher than everywhere else, including the Circle K across the road.nI'm done with this place and I hope other people wake up and see how insanely expensive they are even compared to other grocery & convenience stores and stop shopping there as well.
Some weird dudes up here, watch yourself. We watched the guy who I think was working in the store come out and put gum on my car entry door lock. Laughing and smiling he jumped in his black Chevy trailboss and drove away.
Such a horrible ad on YouTube. Footage of lobsters in a tank. Wow, really appetizing. Putting lobsters like that in a tank is animal abuse. Let alone catching the lobsters and boiling them alive. All animal abuse. No need for scientific proof which is available. It's about consciousness, compassion and empathy for life. Sorry but not sorry. These practices need to end.
