Was impressed by their Co-vid protocols, they ask you to wash your hands at the entrance , A little different but I liked it. Smaller grocery store but well stocked. Friendly staff.

The only gig in town for Penetang groceries. A little pricier than some of the midland options. They have full hand wash stations with running water right at the entrance which I think is fabulous. I've gotten a couple cakes at the bakery that I have been quite happy with the decorating.
I have ordered food platters from Foodland in Penetang a few times now. I am always thrilled at the quality and presentation of my orders. The fruit & vegetables are always very fresh and tasty; they last quite a long time. The wraps are well prepared and delicious. The baked goods are superb. The quality of food and service at Penetanguishe Foodland is excellent. I had the opportunity to order from another Foodland location and the quality was not nearly as good. Foodland Penetanguishene, thank you for your quality of service and products!
Seriously go back to your old hours or I will never shop here again…. COVID’s over and was a joke to begin with. Now your hours are a joke.
This is definitely a great store - they have really good COVID protocols in place, friendly and knowledgeable staff, the store is kept clean and tidy, mind you, more expensive than some other places around. To be more direct - I really want to thank very much the bakery for their amazing artistic skills, creativity, for each occasion we order and for yumminess into the cake we order for every cake occasion we had over the past few weeks, they require minimal instructions, but the results are always artistic and delicious! So thank you Kim and the crew, you all are doing an amazing job and it exceeded all our expectations.
Foodland always maintained that they had higher prices due to being open 24 hours a day. Now it has normal hours like any other store but still significantly higher prices than anywhere else. They just take advantage of customers who can't travel farther, a total rip-off.
Prices are a bit extravagant, service is good. It's the kind of place where they know your name. Ordered a birthday cake on Saturday morning and picked up later that day. Cant beat that!

More specifically - thank you so much to the baker for putting so much work, creativity, sunshine and yumminess into the cake we ordered for our Corn Roast over the long weekend, with vague instructions to make it pretty! She did an amazing job and it exceeded all our expectations.
