Food Basics

This a very good store, I am thinking the 2nd best in kitchener - waterloo.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Great place. Had everything I needed, which is rare for a Food Basics. I'll never forget my visit. Looking at my receipt I cried tears of joy. Probably the best grocery store in Waterloo, and maybe even the world. I like this Food Basics more than a friend. Please don't leave me. One complaint though stop asking for my postal code, it makes me feel bad every time when I give you a fake one.

The location is in a strip plaza. Food is pretty good but the servers were great! I think the owners are in love with Christmas, they have many items for sale in the restaurant many at a decent prices. I will say they deserve another half star. Congrats.

Low prices as you would expect, and this particular location is clean, tidy, and has a good selection, unlike many other Basics locations in town.

cheaper grocery compared to Sobeys, Zehrs, etc. I particularly like their thinly chopped "fast fry" pork loin, which is easy to use and rarely seen at other places.
