Flirty Bird Nashville Hot Chicken

Good quality food. Chicken sandwich was tender and juicy, and the fries were fresh and perfectly seasoned. Staff was very friendly and helpful figuring what heat level I should get. Got the hot level spice and it definitely had some heat to it my mouth was burning for a while, but lacked a bit of punch flavour wise — it was spicy but not as flavourful as I would have hoped. I was craving fried chicken and this hit the spot when I needed it. Would recommend as a place to eat when you need that heat.

Overall this was pretty good. The chicken is of high quality and the food is actually spicy. We had the chicken sandwich at medium level and I could have gone spicier. For the tenders we ordered extra spicy and that was definitely really spicy! We wouldn't do extra spicy again but I think "spicy" would be the perfect level for us. The mains don't include any sides so we got fries for $4 and it's big enough for 2 people to share. The atmosphere is the main reason for the lower score the music is simply too loud and they were playing some pretty awful rap with non stop swearing so keep that in mind before bringing kids here!

This place has the best spicy chicken sandwich! Eat it fresh and you won’t be disappointed. I recommend sticking to the sandwich as I the other items are okay - I find the tenders have a fine coating that I’m not use to. The only downside is that sandwich is $14 alone and it doesn’t transport well if you get take out of delivery.

If you like spicy food, this is a must visit place in Edmonton. Limited menu, three main items but honestly you are here for testing out the heat. I tried The tenders - ScorchinFlirt: Hottest in the TownTry at your own risk. Wow it was a great experience. Friendly staff

Stopped in before a movie, was pleasantly surprised! Location is very central for easy access. We had a sandwich and the chicken fries. Chicken was a decent heat. Nice big piece of white meat, real crispy. Fries were loaded with pickles and chicken. Definitely be careful with the heat levels, hot is actually hot! : Would come back again.

Stopped in for some takeout for lunch. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders in medium sauce and fries. The chicken was breaded and was crispy. It came with coleslaw and pickles which were quite tasty. One star is lost because the fries were missing from the order. I would return again.

Amazing place. All the food is extremely delicious and I can't get enough of every bite. Their coleslaw complements the chicken so we'll. The service was extremely nice, and the music is exactly what I'm into rap and 90s hip-hop. I've been there 3 times now and I have had the exact experience I've wanted everytime. Definitely the place to go when in Whyte ave and want a quick bite to completely fill you up.

I actually had the pleasure of visiting Flirty Bird for the first time down in Calgary just weeks before they opened here in Edmonton, and heads up: this place is totally worth its hype! And to ensure we weren’t missing out in Edmonton, I recently visited Flirty Bird here and might even I say it was even better than in Calgary it’s also a much bigger location, suitable for a group of friends to hang out! I love chicken spots where you can pick your preferred spice level, so I was sure to take advantage of that. I ordered TheTenders spice level: HotFlirt and TheSando spice level: MedFlirt and ExtraHot Flirt with extra Comeback sauce on the side. Let me just tell y’all, they not playing with the HEAT! Truly I was taken aback by the level of spice in the HotFlirt chicken tenders! Thank God for the comeback sauce because it really helped cool down the heat, but if you are not into spicy foods I seriously recommend anything below MedFlirt. After recovering from the heat from the tenders, I respectfully did not go near the ExtraHotFlirt Chicken Sandwich which my friend said was disgustingly spicy BUT I throughly enjoyed the MedFlirt. TheSando was all around just a great sandwich! The black pepper based slaw, soft brioche bun, tender and HUGE chicken breast, and delicious comeback sauce all came together for a finger-licking-good experience. All that to say, if you haven’t checked this spot out yet, I’d totally recommend you stop by for a flirt!

Friendly service. Ordered 2 sandwiches and flirty fries. Chicken breast in sandwiches were pfresh, crispy and yummy. The flirty fries was a bit too saucy with coleslaw and pickles on top of the fries for me but I can see others liking it. Definitely worth trying.

Great spot! We had the chicken sando and tenders. Chicken was fried right in front of us, very crunchy and fresh. I’d suggest being modest when choosing the spice level. Convenient location with fun decor and music
