Fitness Advantage 24/7

The Manager, Ricky, is a horrible person. Buddy charged me for a month while my pass was not working. When I asked to be reimbursed for the month that he charged me, he told me "no refunds." He said, "I'll give you a refund if you get out." I told him "I do not want to be giving my money to someone who treats their customers like this." I am going to join the YMCA or LA Fitness instead. I liked the equipment, but I am not going to continue giving my money to rude people.

This is a pretty good gym. If you don't care about the old defective equipment sitting up front. The machines are decently taken care of and they have a great set of free weights 2.5-120 2 sets each except for 90+ so that's great. The only downside of the gym is the people... if you are younger looking to workout it's not the best. Lots of older people here who do one set and sit around and don't actually workout half the time. And the men to women ratio is probably 10-1 so if your a girl looking to meet friends here you would be better off going to LA fitness or planet fitness. But it's insanely cheap 24-7 and weights are weights so

STAFF IS GREAT. ESPECIALLY BROCK. OWNERS DON'T KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY RUN A BUSINESS TO SUIT PEOPLE. STILL ENJOY IT FOR GREAT CONVERSATIONS WITH BROCK AND HIS CONTAGIOUS PERSONALITY.

Staff is never there during hours they should be so if you have problems with your card its very hard to go in and have them resolved. Prices rise very frequently

There are definite pros and cons to Fitness Advantage. Pros: -I go around the same time each day, and I can honestly say the people there are like family. Warm and friendly! -The staff is wonderful! From what I understand there was some turnover, but the current staff I have worked with the past 6 months is wonderful. -The children's area has decent hours that allow me to have some "Mommy Time." They have been so good to my son since he was 6 months old. -I have no trouble using the machines or free weights I want to. Cons: -The owner purchased new workout equipment (which is fabulous), but has had the old equipment packed in parts of the gym. I was originally told that it was supposed to be picked up...but that was 6 months ago. As a business owner myself, I strive to have the best presentation possible...and Fitness Advantage lacks there. -There seems to be a slow turnaround repairing machines at times. The staff will post when something is 'Out of Order' and thankfully there are enough of everything to not let it hinder a workout. -The building itself (interior) is falling apart in places. If you are seeking a very classy looking gym, Fitness Advantage won't fit the bill there.
