First Choice Haircutters

I had a woman with cool purple hair cut my hair. She was so nice and understood my anxiety about time and cut my hair really well really fast. A gentleman who worked beside her was funny and charming and really great with a little boy who came to get his hair cut. I like this place!

WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE EVER. Going into my hair trim I specifically said I wanted a trim due to some dryness and split ends but that I was and am trying to grow my hair out. The hairdresser said she would do exactly that but then made comments regarding my existing haircut and saying that nobody had ever properly cut it (not true As I normally see the same hairdresser who always perfectly does my hair but she was out of town at the time). She then proceeded to chop aggressively at my locks, I got worried and made a comment regarding not taking too much off and she assured me it would be very long still. I thought my hair was ok when I was leaving as she did not show me the hair and it was a very fast appointment. When I looked in the mirror I cried at the sight. It was so uneven and choppy. She completely destroyed my hair. It looked like an emo punk singer hairstyle which was not at all similar to the gentle layers I had existing and wanted trimmed back in. The manager of the stores will give you a refund ( I have yet to receive it) and offered another stylist to fix my hair but I don’t trust another staff member if this lady is somehow still employed. I noticed on the Facebook page another lady had the same thing happen to her just 4 weeks prior (she had 8 inches of hair cut off just like myself but both of us had asked for slight trims). A 20 dollar refund doesn’t compensate much (the refund for hair cut which I have not yet received) when you have to get 400 hair extensions to fix the mess . Really disappointed in this company and their lack of customer service. I have no words to describe how angry this experience made me. However I can HIGHLY recommend Accents hair studio as they are a lovely group of ladies with extreme talent. I especially love Jenn and Michelle who fixed my hair right up and made me feel safe in the chair again.

I was in yesterday to have my recent mishap with my hair cleaned up and Chrissy did an amazing job. She was super friendly and relatable and did exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much, Chrissy.
