Located in Central Nanaimo, B.C. Studio 65 offers professional hair salon services from hair cutting to hair colouring.

Angela Pearson, Owner and Master Hair Stylist has a passion for all aspects of hair design. Angela has over 30 years of experience as a hairdresser and has trained all over the world.

I have had Ellen as my hairdresser for 8 years,, she is wonderful! Great skill, very kind and does a terrific job with color and cut. Very accommodating.

Very friendly and inviting however skill level is not up to par with what an actual master hair desiegner is. 3" or more were removed that didnt need to be when i asked to keep my hair as long as possible as i grad this summer and didnt want fake hair. Now i am stuck with a haircut that is half between a choppy bob and a bowl cut. I wouldnt recomend this service whatsoever as even after she asked and was told no angela still made my hair all the length of my overgrown undershave (extremely short) and its still not straight or even! I only went in to get my hair straightened out length wise...so im not sure why more than 80% of it was cut off

Super disappointed!! Inconsistent results, not the first time either. I have decided to write this review because of the terrible time I am having, since my last haircut, trying to make my hair look nice. The problem happens when the stylist doesn't listen or pay attention!! This last cut, I told Angela, do exactly the same as before BUT that's not what I have!! The layers are too short, it's not textured properly and my curly hair just sticks out. When I blow it straight it looks like a helmet, it's an awful cut!! I spend hours trying to make it look nice now. I have gone to Angela for the last 18 months and had about 5 haircuts (plus colours) in that time. Two haircuts back, I brought in a picture of the style I wanted and Angela cut it very well - long lengths and textured properly and it was easy to style at home. But not the time and since I have had to deal with this issue before at Studio 65 I will not be going back!
