First American Title Insurance Company of Oregon

I have worked with every local title company in Lane County and First American is by far the best in town. They always get things done in a timely manner and they do it right the first time. I love working with Shawna Wood, she always has a great attitude and my clients always have fun!

This is the best title company in town! They have the best escrow officers and their customer service is terrific. You can't go wrong when you choose First American!

These people are deceitful. Unhelpful. They overcharge and in general do not care about properly giving you good service. Closed on a house that I was paying CASH for. They took well over a month to do anything. Never returned phone calls. LIED constantly about having actually called my realtor, myself, and the Land management company. Due to them very poorly handling my case and not caring about it. I was forced to pay rent and fees on two different properties. Then on top of all of this they charged me nearly 2000 dollars in fees for a 13,000 dollar property. I am still considering getting a lawyer.

The process of buying a house was extremely stressful but Tera was awesome and went above and beyond to help with the entire process. Thank you so much.

I was asked to sign another set of papers within 24 hrs after signing because of wrong paper work, than 4 months after closing their office contacts me and said there was a mess up with taxes and I have to write them a check for 2500. Ethically I am obligated to pay the money but in the end??? come on,,,,,,,I thought they were the professionals. first american title in Eugene oregon
