The subs were delicious, lots of meat and veggies. Price wasn't to bad in comparison to other sub places. The wait time is the only reason I gave 4 stars. But they are still rather new, so once they improve on that I will update my review.
In comparison to Subway; the price is more but the taste and portion size are hands down better at Firehouse. I tried the Hook and Ladder sub and it didn't disappoint. I'm a new fan!Food: 5/5
We had a great experience this year in terms of food quality. It's very consistent every time we go. Customer service is to be desired and a little bit hit or miss. Sometimes you're greeted upon entry, sometimes they ignore you like they don't want you to buy anything. Last time I was here, a couple walked out as no one even acknowledged them. The one other thing that I don't mind with some people are frustrated about is the length of time it takes to get your food. Even when it's not busy. They do prepare and take care in the food they make, even though it's just subs. If it's busy though, prepare to wait for 30 minutes for your food. All in all the product is really great. The wait in line is short but the wait for food a bit long. I placed an order on the phone but after I paid my order the wait is about 15min. Taste is so good so it’s worth a wait.
They also have a veggie sub option. Every time I go for veggie or veggie with mushrooms, they are really delicious. I strongly recommend to try it. The great thing is that they give pickle on the side which makes it a perfect pair with sub. However, its free of cost Wheelchair accessibility: They also have disable washroom.
So good! I asked for a pizza sub, but they gave me a meatball sub instead. Maybe they don't make pizza subs, but it was still delicious! Anytime we're in the area we try and stop in here. Been twice so far, and both times have been fantastic.
I have nothing bad to say about this location! My boyfriend loves the subs! We have no problem driving across town at any point of the day to get him his favourite! The staff are always very friendly and the atmosphere is very clean at all times including the bathroom. This is a newer location to owensound and since day one they have been operating as if they had years of experience! Try and avoid going at busy times if you are looking to avoid a line up!
Super disappointed they don’t have a gluten free bread option. I looked online before going and seen they offer gluten free only to get there and have to get a salad. My husband got a sub and said it was amazing. The customer service is not good. It took 20 mins to get our order. If they had a gluten free option it would easily be worth the wait for me, but we won’t be back until then, if ever, unfortunately.
Tried the Engineer Sub with turkey and it was so yummy!
Very clean and nicely lit store. The subs were prepared fast and tasted amazing! Thank you for making our first visit amazing :
