Story

We've created a casual and comfortable restaurant and bar that welcomes all.
fire + wine has an urban, downtown feel, with rustic-meets-modern flair. The atmosphere is noted by patrons to be fresh, warm, inviting & modern.

The fare at fire + wine is constantly fresh, made daily and served nightly. Neapolitan wood fired pizza, creative pastas, small plates, great healthy meals full of flavor, low on calories and enough creative character to excite you with the everyday desired casualness.

Delicious wines, great cocktails and of course craft beers for the hop heads!

Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar! All the bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. It's full service so you can enjoy ALL the amazing food. The gnocchi is the best I've ever had. Don't skip on dessert, either. I recommend the butterscotch pudding. Hands down, my favorite place to dine in all of the Western 'Burbs.

Perhaps one of the coziest and most romantic restaurants on my list of go-to eateries. The craft beers and cocktails are phenomenal. Appetizers will surprise and delight you, primary among them would be the ricotta and honey bread (which I order two of every time). The main courses included pizza, pasta, savory meats, and seafood. After you have eaten your fill, dessert seems like a distant option because you will probably be full, but if you must, the donuts are nice. Service is fantastic. The drinks were always coming, the water was never empty, and the food timing was perfect. The bathrooms were clean too. My only criticism is that it seemed the hostess was eager for us to leave (it was a busy night). In my teens I was a waitress, I get it the whole flipping tables thing, but openly eyeballing a guest's table isn't right. Anyway, this was my third visit at fire + wine; there will most certainly be a fourth.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had stopped in just to grab a drink and dessert. We ordered the fried Italian donuts and at first bite it tasted like fish. They must cook their pastries in the same oil as their food. I literally could not eat another bite however my date did not mind the fish undertones. It was enough of a turn off where we both had said we were not sure we would actually go back to try dinner there. Slightly disappointed because they seemed to have a great menu.

This was my first visit and I was blown away. We ordered several small plates and would absolutely do that again . The shrimp and pelenta was like nothing I’ve ever had spicy, rich and flavorful. The short rib is the best I’ve ever eaten period. Service was above average hard working people make the difference and the love of the food shows.

If I want really good Italian, this is probably my go to. The pasta menu is fairly small, but there's a decent variety and everything I've had is fantastic. The pizzas are also quite fantastic. The place is not a "hidden gem", so expect a wait during peak times.
