Very slow service. There was only me and couple but my glass was always empty and I was waiting for over 10 minutes just waiting for the bill. How in the world For dessert, I got the two scoop ice cream with three brownies. The image I attached was the two scoop ice cream. I swallowed my two scoop ice cream whole in a single bite. Would have been impressive if they didn't use half a Table spoon for the measurement of a "scoop." Don't waste your time or money at this place.
We stopped for coffee and dessert. The waitress was pleasant and friendly but didn't come see us very often. They had a live band that was a little loud but it was a live band. You have to expect that. They were excellent though. We had a dessert there called the Apple Crumble Pie, it was so delicious. Going back just for that! The coffee was good. They made a new pot just for us. Very nice.
Went for lunch with 4 people in the group. My order of fish & chips was good, though the gravy was bland. The burger meal didn't come with all the toppings requested and fries were skimpy. Steak & mushroom pie was decent. The chicken pot pie was horrendous, I've never had that much garlic in a meal, 3 of us tried it and all agreed. It has been decent before so someone screwed up this time. The crust was good but the filling made it close to inedible. I had a Guinness and it seemed a little flat, definitely not the same as the pubs in Ireland. The waitress should be proactive with toppings like ketchup and vinegar, most restaurants will bring the condiments before the meal, not wait until clients ask for it. Based on this visit I would not return.
Visited for date night to watch live music, and had a great time. The food is excellent fish tacos are fabulous, and there is a decent selection to choose from. Reasonably priced, especially when you consider that there is no cover charge to see the band. Service was excellent. We've been here twice, and will go back again!
Service used to be faster. Not sure if it's because of new staff or being understaffed. Bartender is always friendly and happy to get you a drink if you can't wait for the waitress or waiter. Great food, highly recommend the platter in the appies section. Enough food for around three people to just have that for supper.
I enjoyed the restaurant and the food was delicious but it was ruined by our server. She was completely incompetent and rude. When my fiancé inquired if they had a particular dipping sauce he was condescendingly barked at that the dish only came with red pepper jelly "like it says in the menu" When she would grace our table with her cheery presence she would only offer drinks to a few of us so you would have to try and order a new drink for yourself before she took off again. I would be hesitant to return only because of the service.
Redeemed! Came here a couple times for their Wing Wednesday's and they were out. But both times they took care of their mistake when the bill came. Finally had their wings tonight, and man were they worth the wait! Way more meat on the wings than the other local Wing Wednesday place looking at you Bo... Staff is great and friendly. Food is good.
First time we've been here in quite a while, and probably the last time I will eat here, this place has gone down hill hard. Came in for a quick dinner before a hockey game on a weekday, restaurant was moderately busy. Waitress was very nice and friendly, got us drinks very quickly. Wings were on special, took 45 minutes. Enough salt on the wings for 3 orders. Ordered a deluxe burger with bacon, ordered and paid for extra cheese. All told took 90 minutes to get food. Bun was toasted into oblivion. No bacon, no extra cheese. Burger patty was cooked beyond well done. Needed to use my beer to choke it down. My girlfriend ordered a stuffed Yorkshire and it was bland bland balnd, no seasoning and very little flavor. Menu used to be fresh and fun but it's very obvious their current kitchen staff either don't know what they are doing, or don't care. AVOID.
Fantastic food and the menu changes enough you can't get tired of the food. Live music was wonderful. The beer selection is mostly from Alberta with a few micro brews to keep it interesting. 10/10 will go again
My first time at this place was with my stepdaughter on Mother's Day. I drove from Edmonton, she drove from Calgary and we me there. I was surprised there was live entertainment in the afternoon which added a nice touch. Singer was awesome. Food was good. Staff friendly. Great atmosphere. I would have given 5 stars if the air conditioning wasn't blowing on me as it was a bit too cool but not uncommon sitting in a window booth.
