We came here on a Friday night. With a reservation, we didn't wait to get our table. The table was located on a loft, feel sorry for the servers who need to run up and down every time. We ordered Arancini for starter. They were rispy but bland that I had to dip them into the vinaigrette that was provided for the buns. I ordered full size carbonara. The portion was very generous, but it was very salty. Because it's big portion, I had to finish slowly. It got a bit dry when it got to the end. My friend ordered a medium rare steak. It came in medium well. The gentleman was nice enough to take it back, replaced the dish, and took it off the bill. The second steak came as medium rare.
We were lucky enough to have get a table on the terrace. It's very cute with string lights. Some tables have a propane open flame on their table. Food was very good. The pizza tasty an so is the pasta. Not exceptional but very good. The waitress was super nice. Definitely reserve because it gets very crowded. A casual good eat.
One of the few places still open after 10pm in downtown Victoria which is the best part. Sad part is restricted menu of Pizza and a few other things if you are hungry. Their gourmet Pizza is nothing to brag about, but it is quite decent. The desserts are OK. Service is great. But you definitely have to try it out if you are in for a midnight snack kind of thing when roaming downtown Victoria
Service was great, but the charcuterie board was sad. It felt like they had transferred sliced meat from a Costco platter to a $28 cheese board. With all of the incredible local meets and cheese around, this platter missed the mark. Brussels sprouts were great though.
We were favorably impressed with this establishment. Not the best pizza I’ve had, but it was respectable with a good crust thin. Likewise, service was good but not great. Overall a good choice for good pizza. BTW, they have other menu options as well and what I saw looked good.
Everything was on point. Open late night was a big draw! Amicable service, really good food, and spot on drinks. Cozy offerings all around! Definitely a spot to come back to for locals!
Very nice dining experience, even though seated at the bar. Outdoor seating available but not available this visit. My second in-person visit; ordered delivery twice during 2020 lockdown. First time sitting inside: busy, lively space with character and attractive decor. I was actually nervous not having 'safe distance, 6 feet' from strangers, other diners as place filled up. I thought these guidelines are still in place. The service is welcoming and comfortable, the open concept kitchen gives a view of a team of professionals at work. It's lively and on the loud side inside; I prefer the outdoor seating. Food was great! Chicken Parmigiana $27 was substantial, nicely done and presented, served with spaghetti, fresh broccoli spears and hard carrots. Only offer Tabasco hot sauce or chili oil for some heat. Entree served with bread and oil & vinegar. An extensive drinks menu; Red Sangria $11.95 made-to-order, was delicious and refreshing. The Liquidity Pinot Noir $13 was recommended accompaniment and was very nice and smooth.
A decent, but underwhelming restaurant. Stumbled in here by “accident” as it was on the way to another destination. Stopped in for a few beverages and some “late” night snacks and dinner. Overall, the experience was positive regarding the service. The food was a concern. Very underwhelming to put it politely. I’ve certainly had better Italian food and the menu is quite generic, but you’ll have a decent time here as long as your expectations are configured and set for something “safe” and run-of-the-mill. I’d say the atmosphere of the restaurant is probably the highlight and not necessarily the food or beverage.
I had a pretty great experience here on a night out with my colleagues from work. The food was great and came out in good time. It was the Thursday night before the long weekend so it was pretty busy but we didn't wait more than 15 minutes for any of our meals. I had the chicken parmesan and I have zero regrets. It was a decent sized portion with very pleasing and balanced flavors. The temperature was also perfect; hot but not scalding. Their pizza was also pretty good. Great thin crust, not too greasy. I felt like they could have increased the quantity of toppings though and made the crust to toppings ratio even better. The wine selection was awesome and the servers were a pleasure to deal with. Attentive and prompt but not hovering. Would definitely recommend for a great Italian dining experience.
We stumbled upon fiamo accidentally because the restaurant we were gonna go to was at full capacity when we got there. But have to say, it was well worth it! Super fun ambiance, we had the most kindest hostess, she was amazing, and the food OMG the meatballs were divine. We also got the Crab pasta and the roast chicken pasta, I liked the Crab one better out of those two, but both were very good and BIG portions! We even took half of it home. Check them out folks, It's well worth it!
