Federal Taphouse & Kitchen utilizes local ingredients at every opportunity. With a farm to table approach to dining, We use local products as mush as possible when available. Our Menu is Global Inspired Comfort Food. At Federal Taphouse & Kitchen, we want all of our customers to experience our local fare in an inviting environment. Just wondering why this or how this place is open the food stations where food is made and plated is filthy . the salad an sauteed stations have mice that run through it I've pulled mice and dead mice put of the grill and sauteed stations more than once and have even witnessed worms in the salad bar . I used to work here and the place is not clean very far from it. The walk in Fridge is disgusting there's grease build up from fat and blood plasma that you can slide across the entire basement floor on . especially where food is kept in the walk in Fridge . I used to try and clean up but there isn't enough time or staff to keep up on sanitation. I advise my friends or people to eat somewhere else for your own good. Mice carry many pathogens and disease and run rampid through the establishment

I have been here twice. First time with a friend, and I had to bring my wife back because it was so good. She loved it. It is "bar food" with a mature presentation. Great staff!!!

Federal tap house is a great place to go with friends. I went with a large group and the service was great. Wait staff is extremely quick and friendly, getting my food within 5 minutes of ordering even though I arrived later than my friends. They have a brunch special of bottomless mimosas that I took advantage of and they were on top of refills before I even finished my glass. It's slightly expensive but the food is worth it. Try the smoked bacon on the brunch menu. Delicious. Overall, you get a lot for your money and it is worth your time. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent service, bottomless mimosas with brunch for only $15 ! Brunch menu is not extensive, but the regular menu is. Taco Tuesday is also great.

The atmosphere was great, staff lively. The food was ok, poutine a bit salty and there was a fly in my water. Taking that into account I would go again, it was a great place.
