Faros Family Restaurant is owned and operated by the Katris family, who came to the United States from Greece. Our experience and family pride has contributed to top quality food, along with excellent service in a clean and relaxed atmosphere. Large location with plenty of seating. Friendly staff. Wide assortment of food. Food is average quality. Consistently tastes good, but nothing that you would write home about. You do get a good value (portion and flavor to dollars). They are open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday.

Tonight I had dinner here. I come here quite often and my experiences have been good, but tonight was awful. I ordered the four cheese pasta and it absolutely had no flavor. It was disgusting; I only had a few bites. My friend also ordered a pasta dish and ate only a few bites because it was not good either. My boyfriend's cheeseburger was good, however. The waiter did a fantastic job though. He was polite, checked on us to see how things were, etc. However, at the end of our time there, the waiter asked if we needed boxes as well as a waitress that had passed our table. Both of them saw two full plates of pasta, and we said we were finished and wanted no boxes, so you would think they would realize we did not enjoy our food. I do not blame them, but I do blame management- when we went to the counter to pay for our meal, we explained to the man very respectfully the situation. He got very angry and snippy at us; He was very rude to us. He said, "It is just pasta and cheese. This is just a common dish here and we have never had any problems with it before. I don't know what to tell you." He treated us as if we were simply trying to get a free meal, which was not the case. If we would have eaten half of our pasta then I would understand his reasoning for saying what he did. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Faro's again. While they always had good service before, speaking to one of the staff managers has ruined it completely for me. I do not want to support a business run with that man's idea of customer service. Awful experience.

In the past have normally had decent food and service. They slipped up n I had a HAIR IN MY BREAKFAST. So got the check, paid n left. May visit again in a few months.

The 5 stars for casual dining. One of the best finds I have experienced in a long time. We stopped here almost by accident. Excellent food, value and service. We will be back.

While the rest of my family would give this place 5 stars, I gave it 4 simply because 5 should be reserved for really outstanding places. It is casual dining with so many nice options you might have to send the server away a couple times before you make up your mind. Never fear, no matter what you choose, it will be the right one.
