Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

Had the brisket and smoked sausage and they were both good. I prefer no sauce on brisket but it was acceptable. The sausage had nice crisp skin and a good snap when bitten. The flavor was Smoky and spicy. The potato salad was also different than the standard potato salad but was good. Not a bad place.

The food here is amazing! The atmosphere is good and our waitress was very nice and helpful! If your in the area don't miss this place! The prices aren't bad either! The Devils Spit BBQ sauce is the best!

Good and friendly service is the pro. The con was that the food was mediocre. I went in with lowered expectation because I knew it wasn't "real BBQ" (no wood fire, no wood smoke) but even so I wasn't impressed. The ribs were tender but not a lot of flavor besides the sauce(which is good sauce). But the brisket was terrible, it didn't taste right, it didn't look right, and the texture wasn't right. Avoid the brisket! Also the fries didn't seem fresh and they were bland. The other sides to our meal we're good.

Great BBQ! Amazing chicken, ribs, brisket, and sides! We loved the Family Feast and very family friendly! Kids loved the corn bread muffins.

My husband and I ate an early dinner around 3:30 on Sunday. I've never witnessed something like a family that we were seated by. It appeared to be a family with no respect for your wait staff. We are parents of 4 grown children of our own and never have I seen a family leave such a mess. And I bet have it be known a very under paid tip. Are server was wonderful thanks Rebecca for a great experience that could have been very unpleasant. Too bad we can't post the picture I took of this awful mess left behind . People be kind to your servers.
