Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

Our 16th anniversary. Made reservations for Christmas Eve, 7 pm. Checked to be sure there would be chicken on the menu. Get there, perfect table by the fireplace. Waitress says chicken not on menu. About to be very sad, but Manager says don't worry. I got my chicken. Found out later, they had planned to close early. Stayed for us....on Christmas Eve...good job, Idaho Falls Famous Dave's team!

Honestly really great service and excellent tasting food. The place has a cabin-like feel with the nice wood and everything was spaced out nice. We even got some free things for going our first time! My only complaint was the portion sizes were a bit smaller than I expected for the price. Everything else was phenomenal though, great job guys!!! We will absolutely be back.

Very expensive, for a decent amount of food your looking at about $25 a person. Which I don't mind paying if it was good. If you don't like spicy food don't go there because its all they sell. Service wasn't that great either.

Have only eaten here a couple times but both have been unpleasant. I've eaten a lot of bbq food in my life and this place that served here is pretty awful. Their meat is tough, chewy, and burnt (in looks, smell, and taste). Both times I visited, the wait times were unnecessarily long between being seated and the arrival of our food-although the check was brought very quickly. The only food items I enjoyed were their corn muffins, drunken apples, and bread pudding-the only reason for getting 2 stars instead of 1. Even the soda tasted funny, like the syrup had gone bad and the carbonation was low. Dessert and corn muffins are the only things I suggest ordering.
