Arctic Circle

Good fast food and pretty good service. Only reason why I didn't give it five stars is because it took a little longer than preferred to get our order.

Arctic Circle (aka AC Greasy) was a fixture of my Western Washington childhood. I rode my bike to the Mountlake Terrace location on numerous occasions and still make their version of fry sauce whenever I have french fries. Consequently, I was quite thrilled to discover this location and made my first visit to Arctic Circle in nearly 40 years. Service was attentive, if not particularly friendly. Prices were what I'd expect. The Ranch Burger was okay, but the bun was a bit stale. Bottom line is that the restaurant is much better in my memory than it is in real life, but the real life version isn't horrible or anything. It was fine.

I love that they still have fry sauce here. The burgers are decent but it's their shakes that keep me coming back. I love the fresh banana with oreos added to it. Crazy sounding but delicious.

Great waffle ice cream cones. Nice place for dessert. Service was good. The restaurant was very clean. The servers were nice and friendly.

Not the cleanest place. The shakes are good and the ice cream is reasonably priced. The fries were cold though.
