This Peach Cobbler was sooo disgusting. How do you serve someone this and don’t expect they will have an upset stomach lol. The dough for the cobbler was very much “uncooked” and the peaches were soo hard not soft enough. I also got the St. Louis SpareRibs and they were pink as in the color and I never eat my ribs with that much pink let alone any. They weren’t “smoked” as they should be. The cooks in the back look as if they were rushing people food. I definitely would NOT recommend this place!
The food is sub-par for sure, I ordered the grilled cheese classic, tomato soup, and mac n cheese through Uber eats, under the name "Fame Grilled Cheese." At first I thought this was a specialty pop-up lil grilled cheese shop. There's no "Fame Grilled Cheese." I only realized by googling the address it's under Famous Dave's.... ---The grilled cheese was pretty luke warm by time it got to me, which wasn't the end of the world, but I only live 1.5 miles away --The tomato soup tasted way too sweet. --The worst part though was the mac and cheese, for $5, it's a VERY tiny portion, like the smallest tiny container you can get at a supermarket deli hot bar. Also, it tasted like frozen stouffer's. ....The worst part though, which led me to leave this review, is that my mac was cold. So I picked it up to then transfer it to a microwavable safe plate. Upon me merely picking up the mac n cheese container, it crumbled apart/the bottom fell out. It was almost as if it was perforated but wasn't a clean "break" either, it left jagged edges/crumbled black plastics/styrofoam stuck to my mac. I scraped it off and said eff it and ate it, was on my lunch break at work and didn't have a chance to write this til now. I just am dumbfounded as I've never ever seen a container break like that for no reason, so I wonder if the container they load it into got melted when they scoop it into it? Or the styrofoam/plastic was dry-rot where it crumbled from being old.
Came here for Veteran’s day special and the customer service was phenomenal. Employees were polite and conversational, restaurant was clean, food was brought out quickly and was delicious. If you have never been you will love their Wilbur beans and hot and sassy pickles! My favorite barbecue in town. Great place for a quick lunch! I also forgot to mention the prices are great! Especially with inflation lately they kept their low prices. Kid-friendliness: Great family friendly restaurant. Tons of neat decor for kids to look at. Parking: Huge parking lot. Always open spots.
You can eat until your stomach is full with BBQ in this place and your tastebuds will appreciate many different sauces :
Great food, quick service and very considerate staff. I went here with my partner, and we accidentally left our leftovers behind. He went to pick them up, and they were very gracious and understanding. Great service!!
Had dinner here on 1/17/23. Food was great, per usual. Best part of the night was the simple, but excellent customer service. Engaged staff, with eyes up and attentive. In a time when simple customer service seems forever gone, this staff made my dinner out even better with their great service. Me and the wife stopped but I'm not really sure but I think they changed their brisket and the rib meat. The brisket was really dense Like Spam. And the ribs you had to pull and tear off the bone. We haven't been there in a while But we will wait a few months and we will try to eat there again Maybe it was just a fluke. And just Tough pork. Staff was great. And to be fair we didn't say anything to the staff or anything like that because it was edible . Everything else was good it was just the toughnes. But yet in all fairness the meat should be the show stopper there. We'll see you again
This was the worst restaurant I have eaten at in Wisconsin. The food was unbelievably expensive and you have to order before you even sit down. The man we asked to clean our table off was very rude about it and seem to be upset we were even there. Then when we got the overpriced food it was just absolute garbage. The brisket was like meatloaf sliced very thin and had no flavor. The rib tips were just bones with chunk of fat stuck to them. No one ever came to check on us or see how anything was and two of the four people that we were with got very sick after leaving the restaurant that night. Absolutely do not recommend this overpriced horribly tasting restaurant..
I love the food at Famous Dave's! Everything was so delicious! We also had great service with basically four different waiters all stopping in frequently to check on us and make sure we were satisfied. The food came out fairly quick and it was all prepared well. Our server even got two of us at the table to sign up for Famous Dave's Text club and as such we got $6 off our bill.
great food, better than last i ate here about 12 years ago . they did not have servers but the guy at the counter was fantastic and very friendly.Food: 5/5
