Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria

Nice, comfortable atmosphere. Pleasant low-key music. A little chilly so bring a sweater. We went there last night for Valentine's and the service was only a little bit slow, even though it was busy and server was new. Server was polite and had a good balance of checking in and leaving us alone. The food was pretty tasty. I was extremely satisfied, though my husband said the meal wasn't quite enough for him (and he's not a huge guy). They have a lot of options for the base sauce on their pizza, which is cool. Their in-house soda is delicious! Definitely one of my new favourite restaurants.

Watch out for hidden costs. Lunch special was supposed to be $11.95 ended up paying over $20 was not told or warned that anything ordered would be extra cost. Very disappointed.

Have always loved famoso and the Grande Prairie restaurant has always been point on.....not sure what’s happened...new owners and new staff....disappointing, the cavoletti pizza came with 6 small pieces of figs on it, and so very little Brussel sprouts that you can’t see them..😢...the service was friendly but the servers need to work on timing and when not to take a dish away when the customer is still eating off it.....?? Kinda sad cause Famoso has always been our go to....maybe not now..

Fresh tasting. Pretty quick service. Awesome pizza and pasta options.
