Joey's Urban - Grande Prairie

Sub par , the restaurant was dead silent not an appealing atmosphere. From the server who was not friendly or inviting at all to the manager in street clothes no hair net in the kitchen swearing in conversations she was having and talking absurdly loud for and open concept kitchen to the dining room. Dining with an 8 year old and having him hear a person in a management position swear is completely un appealing for families dining and will not make us future guests . Joeys being a chain and standard recipes the food is was okay , but the lobster Mac and cheese is terrible. Took one bite and left the plate , no concern from the server when she took it away didn’t ask if anything was wrong . Guest satisfaction and customer service is definitely low . All and all it was a 1 star experience!

I feel sorry for the owners first I will admit that the food is amazing but to be the only people in on Sunday afternoon with 3 staff members working every table was dirty my wife tried to order more food for when she went to work later and all staff members were hiding in the back no where to be found. As a red seal chef I personally recommend the food but the staff needs to step up there game in a big way.. I must say I have recently started coming back to Joey's urban and I must say the have stepped up their game the restaurant was clean in spite being busy and the food was great as always

Staff does not understand their menu specials. Ask for 2 tacos and fries and she offers a drink. We ask if it is included in price and she says no so we decline drink. Charges us $15. Then we read the lunch special and its is same thing with a drink for $13. Ask why she didn't charge us special and she says because you didn't want a drink - yet she says it wasn't included in what we ordered. And when pointed out didn't want to refund the difference. Disappointing

Food quality is good but very expensive. Water is a whopping 3.50. Restaurant prices but fast food dining. Nice layout inside.

I have ordered twice from Joeys Urban to pick up my food & both times they have made mistakes on both orders. Unfortunatley I didn't realize this until I got home. The first time they forgot to my poutine & taco in the bag. Second time I ordered fish & chips. When I got home & opened the box only to find one piece of fish with no fries. If you order take out double check your orders. The workers there are incompetent.
