incredible and quick service! I spoke to Theresa from start to end, amazing customer service!
THIS IS NOT DIRECTED AT THE COBOURG OFFICE!! We purchased some furniture from Ashley furniture using a Fairstone retail card. Since purchasing said furniture we have been harassed by Fairstone every single day on both mine and my wifes cell phones by their sales team. Sometimes multiple times a day. They continually call you using high pressure sales tactics to sell you higher limits or to try and transfer your account to a higher interest account type. We are currently refinancing our house and needed Fairstone to provide us with an up-to-date statement that we could use to pay out and close the account. After several calls to Fairstone I was either hung up on multiple times because the representative didn't know how to help or I was told that "they cannot give out statements via email or fax". This policy violates my right to information regarding credit cards and is unlawful. After many attempts to access my information from Fairstone our lawyer finally contacted them and now we have the information we need after 28 days of trying. Please take my advice and never use Fairstone Retail credit services.
Amazing customer service, very laid back, casual and friendly conversation and she was able to help with everything we were new to. Definitely a recommended place.

warning...no matter how desperate you are to borrow money..do NOT use this company to help you.. !!!! A 20000 loan ends up being a 40000 dollar loan and they hide information to you after you already signed.. I go to my bank 2 years later to ask for a loan to pay this off and to find out they have not reported this loan to the credit bureau so my bank tells me..theres nothing on the credit burea to show u even have this type of loan. I never had a NSF and paid faithfully and not one late payment and it never shows on my credit rating.. not only that..I finally get to my bank a year later to refinance our debts and the lawyers find it as a lien onto our house ..not on the credit bureaus.. thank god our banker helped us and we got a loan to pay them off however..it took longer then expected because fairstone claimed they never recieved the letter from the lawyer to close the account...I called..my husband called..and she continued to claim nothing was recieved...I finally got her email address and we emailed it to her and she still held onto it and was holding us back slowly from letting this debt get closed and wouldnt send the discharge to the lawyers..finally after many calls...several faxes and emails back and forth ..they finally sent the discharge forms...they wont stop calling g is and sending letters to say how they can give us more money..NEVER AGAIN.. a total RIP off...desperate times..do NOT go to fairstone...talk to your bank first to see how they can help you first...
Awesome experience. Very easy to use and friendly staff. Very professional. Would definitely recommend
