Poor! The facilities are beautiful I will give you that. However,I had my son here and am very unhappy with the services rendered. My water broke a 2am and they admitted me to a section at 12:00 am. They did not allow me to eat anything at all. I ended up having a C-Section as I never dilated and they don't help you walk around or help you. The L&D nurse only had 2 patients and couldn't help me, claiming she was too busy. Meanwhile I was crying and screaming in pain..... When I had the C-Section, I was not given my golden hour with my son. They gave my son to my husband and escorted him out of the OR. I had to wait to be sewn up 20 min or more before I could even see or hold my baby. Later when given the lactation "help", which was none.... She told us its important to have skin to skin and yet again they gave my baby to my husband and she told him to take his shirt off.. The lactation consultants were no help and were always in a rush. I also still don't have my sons birth certificate and have called over and over they claim I just have to wait......
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter to express my disappointment with the poor service that I and my wife received on the night of 05/31/2023 at the Inova hospital. We arrived at the hospital at 6:40pm and checked-in at 7 pm. However, despite the early check-in, we had to wait for treatment until 1 am. I understand that emergencies can take priority, however, waiting for over six hours without any update on when we will be attended to is unacceptable. Furthermore, the lack of communication and information on why we had to wait for so long only added to our anxiety and frustration. As a customer/patient, I expected to receive prompt and efficient service from the hospital staff. Unfortunately, this was not the case on the night of our visit. I urge the hospital management to look into this issue and take the necessary steps to improve their service delivery and customer care. Please ensure that adequate measures are taken to prevent such incidents in the future. I hope this issue will be addressed promptly, and I look forward to your response. Yours faithfully, Kan patel
Forget what them Karen’s are saying Labor and delivery did a great job delivering my son. It was scary because he was low on fluid and wasn’t getting enough blood and my girlfriend was scared to do C section but overall it had to be done to save my sons life. The doctor made the right judgement call, all nurses are very helpful and manage their time exactly how they’re supposed to. We never felt neglected or mistreated we are glad to have our son born at Fairfax hospital
Was there to take a family member to the ER on a Sunday. Kind of a crazy scene, which emergency rooms can be, but once they got checked in things went smoothly. The wait time was roughly about an hour, which isn't bad. Excellent doctors and nurses. Ample parking.
I had a very pleasant experience in this hospital. It’s super clean and neat. The staff is outstanding from drs to nurses to receptionists. The Drs are very informative and they are willing to give you their time to answer all your questions and concerns. The nurses are so kind and knowledgeable. The services are top notch. The meals were five stars. I had only one issue for waiting Long to get anesthesia. Other than that it went smoothly and I appreciate all their efforts. Much love to every single one of them.
Very nice facility with helpful and friendly staff. I'm reducing down one star because I've met a few residents with very bad attitude. These residents became very upset when asked to explain the symptom in easier way. The hospital should teach these residents how to respect and communicate with patients before they call themselves as doctors.
Caring Doctors, nurses are exceptional as well as the entire team. The food is outstanding, as you can see from my food posts! The chef, meals and staff are outstanding! The water pitcher was always filled to the brim! Shout out from the polite guy on the 6th floor, F638!
It's hard to believe so much disarray between the doctors and between the nurses about how much thirst and possible hunger suffering that needs to happen just so they can calculate how much saline is being absorbed. Apparently it's pretty tuff for some of them. No one is asking for anything unreasonable I don't think, just ice to curb the suffering. Cotton mouth dry and sticky. It's not right to have to suffer in such a nice place. I see some of the nurses want to help patients more but are not allowed to. They want to relieve real life suffering. It's really terrible and I don't understand.
Doctors and RNs are good, but that's because they are educated. Rest are bad under international standards but average under U.S. standards. There's a big shortage of nurses and that just allows the low grades to pass the filter. Their doorkeepers are contract hires through United Securities Agency. A bunch of failures. However, it is, too, considered hard job because a person needs to stand at all times and often work overnight. It is not easy to find good candidates for jobs like those but it does not mean it is okay to hire ground-level beings as hospital staff.
Very poor experience with the business side of things, particularly "case management". We had a family member in the hospital for a couple weeks, and they received very good care. During the discharge process, the case manager was concerned with how quickly she could clear the room despite us needing a rehab facility that fit some very key items. They psycho called us a dozen times in just one day trying to push the patient out. Spoke with a patient advocate and were told to request a new case manager and thus began the retaliation from that leadership team. When we tried to call back, couldn't track anyone down. So Thanks to JE and SN in Case Management, you displayed terrible customer service and zero consideration for patients and their families.
