Story

We believe in fair trade coffee. At Fair Grounds we purchase directly from the growers for a higher price than standard coffee. The purpose of fair trade is to promote healthier working conditions and greater economic incentive for producers

We specialize in Organic Fair Trade Coffee that is roasted frequently for the best flavour and freshness.

Delicious hand crafted specialty drinks such as cappuccinos, lattes and more made specifically for you by our exceptional baristas.

Our baked goods are baked fresh every morning in our very own bakery at our 3785 Lakeshore Blvd cafe location. 6am-9pm everyday.

I wish I could offer a better review, but for a place that claims to be a coffee shop they really need to learn how to make a proper cup of coffee.  My wife and I recently moved back into the area and were looking for a local coffee shop to go to on our morning walks.  We had high hopes for this place but it falls VERY short of the mark.  The drip coffee is decent, but their espresso based beverages (latte, cappuccino, etc.) are WAY too hot.  They keep burning the milk even when I ask the staff to froth to a lower temperature.  They put no effort or care into making the coffee and overfill the take-away cups every time.  To add insult to injury the coffee is over-priced ($4.50 for a small).

I do like their coffee beans which is why I gave them a 2 and not a 1.  The baked goods are good as well, but I can't give a *coffee* shop a better score if they simply can't make a proper coffee.  We will not be returning to this place again

HUGE COOKIES! They're perfect for sharing. The have a delicious coffee blend, such a cozy location. I will definitely be going back.

Amazing coffee to enjoy while down by the Lakeshore. The white-chocolate scones are fantastic with a little honey.

Stopped by for a coffee and a snack for the first time over the weekend. Excellent coffee! Bad customer service from the barista with the leg brace. I was actually surprised about it when I had left. I wasn't an unpleasant or difficult customer so I can't justify her impatience. Hope she was just having a bad day and is not always like that.

A great coffee shop. They source and roast their beans. They have fresh baked goods that are great. I love the gluten-free brownie and I don't usually do the gluten-free thing. This is s regular stop if cycling into Toronto.
