Services was slow and only one person to handle everything on Saturday Took nearly 30 mins to rent and 20 mins wait to be return on the queue Rental fee is reasonable
There is a reason why they have the cheapest rate in the area. Bikes are unreliable and in terrible conditions. After 100 metres we brought one back as it was un-usable. As there were no other bikes in better conditions we decided to rent elsewhere. Just 2 min away we rented 2 brand new bikes for only $1.5 more definitely worth it.
Rented three ebikes for the day on the weekend July 19-2020. Counter staff was nice. Bikes clean. Rates decent. But we had to go back 3x for one of the bikes. Pedal fell off, seat would not adjust for us, 3rd bike was different and not as good. Got a lower rate for the lower rated bike, just not what we wanted is all. My bike the battery died 3/4 way through. So manually pedaled the rest of the way. No biggie, I could use more exercise. lol. But I am not that big a guy 210lbs. Should it have died? Not sure. Mostly used the lowest power assist. Asked for a modest discount. no go. The only comp was to set the departure time to when we finally left after the third bike got replaced. Thought they could have done just a bit better than that for the less than stellar impression and resulting Google Review.
Best rates in the area, $5 per hour helmets included and they charge per minute as well so you're not stuck with a higher rate if you return it within the hourly marks. Cruiser bikes were comfortable and worked perfectly well, service was quick and straight forward.
They were fantastic. Staff was helpful, friendly. The best part is you pay for how long you ride at the end rather than having to estimate how long you'll be out and then lose time or get hit with penalties; the company passes the savings to the customer. Excellent location to access Stanley Park. We had to come back when my wife's handlebars loosened after 1 loop and they had it fixed and we were off riding again in less than a minute.
I've rented from here before and yesterday we rented cruisers. 2 hour rental for $10.58 - can't beat the price! From the location, it is easy to cycle to Stanley park on quiet side streets. We were able to complete bike at a leisurely pace around Stanley Park to English Bay and back to the shop in 2 hours. The staff are helpful and friendly. Cruiser bikes have a small basket and are great for flat cycling but we walked the bike up/down bigger hills. Will definitely come here again!
The service here was great 5 stars for that and the prices were unbelievable at around $5 an hour but the bikes were not in the best condition and not alot of bikes for bigger people 6'2 and over. There are lots of other places charging around 7-10 nearby for better bikes. Freedom
Do not rent there! The guys working there have no idea about customer service at all. We had to adjust the bikes by ourselves, had to return to the shop twice to get bikes with at least working gears. No word from them, just shrugging and complete ignorance. On our ride the gear slipped permanently, the brakes were wobbly and the whole bikes made the impression of falling apart instantly. One bike had no bell, the helmets were worn and torn, lighting was missing completely. After returning to the shop and telling that, the guy started an argument about the price and our expectations. "This bike won't kill you." That he said and didn't show any understanding of the fact, that regardless the price bikes have to be safe. No rebate, no apologies - those guys made me feel that every single dollar we paid was a rip-off.
Very easy to access, great location and great prices. We spent over 3 hours and paid $30 for two bikes Only issue was the brakes on my bike were extremely worn out. Wouldn’t be good for an inexperienced biker
I was so glad to find this place! The price is easily the best in town and it is located very close to the entrance to the park, so there was minimal riding time on busy city streets. For someone who hasn't been on a bike in a while, this was a relief! The staff was very friendly and helpful and got me hooked up with everything I needed for a flawless outing in Stanley Park. My expectations were definitely exceeded!
