Extended Stay America - Seattle - Everett - Silverlake

This place could be better, the amenities are dated at best and the rooms are not as clean as they should be. I am fairly sure this location doubles as “section eight” (low income) housing as there is a lot of low life drifting the halls at times, smelled like puke in the elevator. It also explains the smoke you will smell at times. I think the price is fair and the neighborhood is quiet, too bad the place seems to be going downhill. If South Everett had a better alternative I might rate this lower, as it stands, it is probably the only Hotel close in the range, as it has a nice full size kitchen and refrigerator. My takeaway again ...could be better “in the ghetto “....

The reservation process was smooth and easy. I chose this hotel mainly for its location. Front desk staff was professional and the room is spacious. We liked the king-sized bed and how clean the room and bathroom were. The bathroom was modern and basic. All the essentials.

I stayed there for almost a week, the rooms are big for the normal run of the mill hotel rooms. Full sized fridge, microwave and a smaller oven that does take longer to heat up but it works. The only problems I really had was the cleanliness of the room, stuck on food on the couch, a grimey remote and stuff on the carpet. Its off the main road but there are still people walking/biking through there at night. You need a key to get in and out of the hotel after a certain hour so that cuts down on people just walking in. They did serve some pretty good coffee for being hotel coffee though

At first it seemed ok. Pot smoke filled the hall and the front desk seem disorganized but it was fairly clean and the price high but wasn't too terribly bad. My toilet didn't work for a few days but then they fixed it. Then I got a knock on my door from housekeeping even though I posted a do not disturb sign. The housekeeper said that she would force me down the stairs if I didn't extend my stay. This was puzzling since I paid for my stay which didn't end till a week later. I showed the front desk clerk my receipt and confirmation number, but she seemed confused and said she would leave a note for her manager. Being threatened by a housekeeper and harassed by unorganized staff is not worth having a kitchenette. In the future I will avoid staying at this establishment at all costs. It's also worth noting that the wifi is nearly unusable, as well. It took almost 2 minutes for a simple webpage to load.

The internet was terrible. The sign in process and speed we're abysmal. The bed itself was lumpy and the floor of the shower felt sticky. Breakfast was very weak. No hair conditioner.
