Really nice coffee at a cosy cafe. Friendly staff as well, and overall a lovely coffee spot. Ordered the cranberry oatmeal cookie and ham & cheese breakfast muffin. Cookies are huge and delicious. The muffin was so good too! Selection of food & treats look really yummy. They have a little gift shop corner too. Lots of seats but can get crowded as it seems popular. Would definitely come back :-
Great place to have a cappuccino and cookie. Really generous sizing and excellent quality for a very heavy tourist place. The wait time is a little discouraging but it turned out to be worth it! Try to plan your visit when you have time to spare! I went late afternoon on a weekend and waited ~30 minutes to place the order. And then another 10 minutes to receive it.
Well located in the heart of Banff, this coffee is well known for their hot chocolate and they have a great selection of coffee which are blended on site. The ambiance is cozy, few spots to enjoy your favorite hot or cold drink. You’ll be missed!
Their hot chocolate is one of the best I’ve ever had! We had their ham and cheese croissant and the chicken pot pie, both were very good! The crust on the pot pie was light, flakey and moist. Best chicken pot pie I’ve ever had! Going to make this a must stop for a quick bite to eat. Tons of pastries/baked goods. Definitely need to try more of their items.
We recently visited Evelyn's Coffee Bar on our trip to Banff and tried their Bagel, Croissant and a Panini. The Panini was very flavorful and unique in it's taste. We enjoyed every bite of it. The Croissant and Bagel were soft but we have eaten better at other places. The place was quite busy and our coffee took a really long time. It would be great if the staff could be more friendly and greet their customers with a smile.
Great local business, that is standing out because of their massive portions/ sizes of cookies lol Be ready to stay in line on Tuesday afternoonit shows how good they are Delicious and huge portion desserts, amazing iced latte. When we asked about pumpkin pie, stuff pulled the recipe book and told us what's in it! Definitely visit this place when you are in Banff!
When I travel, I like to try different cafes in the area as a coffee and pastry lover. Coffee from here was not bad, but the scone was the worst scone I have ever had. It tasted like over-baked dry crust of the muffin, and it just seemed like they didn’t use enough butter. My friend had pot pie, and it was pretty decent.
Wonderful little coffee shop, the hot chocolate with whip cream is amazing, and the caramel tea is mind blowing. Inside is very cozy, warm, and stylish. They seem to have daily specials for 1$. We got two amazing warmed up chocolate croissants for $1 each, and they are the best we've had of all time. Highly recommended!!
Cute, little coffee shop on banff ave. We decided to just have a coffee there. So I will only rate the coffee. I was not impressed. It’s just a regular coffee nothing special. I asked them to switch my brew as it had a stale burnt flavor as it was sitting on the warmer too long. They kindly switched it to a fresh brew. But gave me a lighter brew, which I’m also not impressed it. However, They had nice workers and an array of small sandwiches, and pastry items that looked good.
Really enjoyed our visit to Evelyn's today. Aside from the Ambience and authentic coffee bistro feel, the staff was friendly and the coffee was delicious. We also tried a sandwich and it was delicious. The cranberry oatmeal cookie was huge and just fantastic as well. We were happy to hear that the owner comes in early at 6 am to fresh bake the goods daily. Thats dedication and attention to quality that you can see in their baked goods. There is a great variety in foods and their is some seating inside as well to take a break and unwind and enjoy some great brews. Definitely a great place to stop by in Banff!
