Estérel Resort

Very nice experience. We had a first floor room with an exterior Jacuzzi which was great. Unfortunately, the Jacuzzi was not hot when we arrived. We received a bottle of wine and $100 off to compensate. Luckily we were staying for 2 days so we got to enjoy it the 2nd day. The outdoor sauna near the lake was not hot at all, 25C. The restaurants are excellent, as is the staff and that's why I'm giving a 5 star review. Note to the management : the toilet paper is not up to par, it's cheap and not becoming of a $550 a night hotel.

Great hotel, great amenities clean etc. However, this hotel sells rooms as condos and unfortunately those who own some of them seem to think they own the entire hotel! After hearing them yelling and screaming until 2 am in their outdoor spa, security finally came and asked them to pipe down. The guy started yelling that he is the owner of the few rooms, not hotel and didn't care. Same thing the second night different people. Very disrespectful. The rooms are nice but you can hear everything around you! We tried to take a nap and heard the cleaning team sweeping and moving stuff for 2 hours. People talking super loud in the outdoor pools and no staff to control anything. I would not recommend this place to have a quiet stay. At this price, get a little cottage.

This resort is great! I highly suggest upgrading to a lake view, definitely worth the price!nThe receptionist that took care of us Joliane was super professional and got things done. We had a little issue with the fireplace not lighting up and her and her supervisor got it fixed very shortly after mentioning it. We were also able to make requests via text and the response time was once again amazing! What a great feature.nJulia at the bar was also lovely and professional. I highly recommend this place for your next trip if you want to relax, eat well and enjoy a nice view within reach of Montreal.

Enjoyed the spa, but the rooms were poorly insulated and detracted from our stay significantly. You can hear conversations through the duct work and furniture moving above you. The hot tubs and lake plunge make for a lively atmosphere which was fun. Warning: come to the spa fully changed already - they charge $10 to borrow a key for the lockers if you need them.

We traveled from Ontario and really enjoyed our stay. Our waterfront view with a lovely sunrise was wonderful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Service by Alex-Sandra, Catherine and Asia was outstanding !! We plan to return next spring. Esterel has a fascinating history so much like many of Canada's grand hotels.
