Absolutely excellent! The young lady that served me was knowledgeable and helped me choose an great dish. I had the vegetarian dumplings (kofta) in a traditional butter sauce and it was positively delicious! I opted for spicy and it had just the right amount of kick to it. Such a lovely first experience; this has instantly become my favourite spot in the area! Delicious food, generous portions, and very fairly priced; can't beat that!

My husband and I stumbled upon this little gem hungry coming into town. We ordered samosas and wings for our appetizers and the lunch “thaali”. We loved the flavors and the portions were perfect and plentiful. The service was fantastic. The menu is simple and straight forward. We sat near the window so the view was pleasant as it was snowing. 5 stars! Definitely a great spot to visit when in Squamish!

I stop there almost every time I visit Squamish or north, the best food in town. Service is great too. The only thing I would suggest is please open for lunch time on Monday and Wednesday!!!

Love the food here. I have tasted Indian food all over the world and never had better than Essence serves.
