Great pastries, fresh and delicious! We tried Honey vanilla bar-cake and Napoleon cake which always was fresh and delicious. Their Napoleon is one of the best I've had. The price is very reasonable.
Poor quality control. Bought three packs of turnovers made by this bakery from local NoFrills at Dufferin Mall. Cherry Turnovers were good reheated but the two packs of Apple turnovers were terrible - folded sheets of flat dry dough with no butter, filling was just a smear, no sugar topping - production date sticker Oct10/22. I will not be getting these again.
Very delicious honey cake, but picture on the package doesn't look like cake in reality. Respond to EB: I included the picture, can you see it? It tells you exactly which cake. With nuts and prunes. I personally don't mind the look, just pointed the difference. Still my fav cake.
We ordered a custom cake for our sons 2nd birthday. The cake was honestly incredible. The design, the taste, all around it blew our expectations out of the water. I would highly recommend using this bakery. Any future events we will definitely order again from here. Customer service was extremely friendly as well. 10/10 stars.
I got a custom made cake from Empire Bakery. The design was beautiful with lots of art work and colors. The ultimate test was the taste. It was so delicious! All my friends and family loved it! Also the pastries we got were very fresh and tasty too!. Delivery was on time. You could really feel that people care. I would really recommend them for any occasion!

They were able to create a masterpiece cake for my fathers 75th birthday on short notice that not only was beautifully decorated but absolutely delicious!! Truly impressed by the high level of design, cake mastery, professionalism and compassion they showed, as all the guests were in awe of how it tasted and how gorgeous the cake was!!! Highly recommend and will definitely be ordering all my cakes from this bakery moving forward. You made this special occasion a lasting memory. Thank you!!
Update from 2018: I asked for quote for one more birthday cake in 2018, and was quoted with 620$ for cake for 20 kids, with design much simpler that one we got in 2016 pillow cake with plastic tiara on the top. I think it is not fair and insane price for such cake, given simplicity of the design and fact that it is only for 20 kids. Reducing my rating because of that. ************************************************************************* If I was able give 10 start, I was giving without any doubt! I ordered Birthday cake for my little princess, I did that online without seeing real life examples. Wow - when I came to pick up the order the cake was looking MUCH better than on the picture online. Real piece of culinary art! All details, flowers - all was looking amazing! The taste was very delicious also! Kids were amazed by the cake :- Highly recommended if you like something special for your party!
I ordered a chocolate cake for my wife's birthday. I was happy with customer service and how they helped me choose a cake from their website. I was also happy with how they called me more than once to update me on the exact time of delivery. I just was not very satisfied with the taste of the cake that was ultimately delivered. First, I asked for a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and they sent a vanilla/chocolate layered cake with vanilla icing and chocolate ganache topping. Second, the taste was okay but nothing exceptional. It pains me to say it but I want to leave an honest review. My wife said that the delivery guy was very sweet and cheerful though.
I ordered the cake for my graduation party and was more then happy with it. Cake was very tasty and had beautiful details in the design. The delivery was right on time and the delivery driver was very friendly and provided a great customer service. Will definitely order again.
We ordered a cake for my daughter's wedding. We were familiar with Empire Bakery products from long time ago and their sour cream cake “smetannik” is my daughter's favourite. The cake was delicious, the price was very competitive for what we ordered. But the most important it was a wedding! the cake was a piece of art. We ordered a cake with huge flower cascade and it was absolutely gorgeous. I would like to thank Roman, Jennifer and other staff for great job and express my sincere admiration to the decorator. Thank you everyone!
