Cakes by Robert did a great job for my daughter's Care Bear themed birthday party! the cake looked great and tasted fantastic. It turned out exactly like the picture I sent. We got so many compliments on the taste and looks, especially on the cake pops that tasted delicious. Nikki was a delight to deal with when we contacted Cakes by Robet last minute as we needed a nut free bakery!

Best cupcakes and beautifully designed!!! We ordered 2 dozen cupcakes some gluten free for a 1st birthday party and they were the biggest hit!! Fantastic quality and were loved by all! Thank you!

I was sadly disapointed by Cakes by Roberts. Although the cake and cupcakes we ordered looked amazing they were too sweet. Even the children didn't want to finish their firsts because it was too sweet. I do though appreciate that they take food alergies seriously.

I don’t normally post reviews but I wanted to say that I had a really good experience. It was my son’s first birthday party and I contacted CBR to get an estimate for the cake/design that I wanted. They replied promptly to any questions via email that I sent. I went to the store to buy some cupcakes to taste test before purchasing the cake and they were delicious so I went ahead with the order. We were not disappointed. We had lots of compliments on both design and taste of the cupcakes and cake. Amazing. Thank you :

I love combination of quality and price, and its definitely worth to buy cupcakes from the factory to have the freshest batch. Besides, admin team was able to facilitate my last minute order. Highly recommended.

This past Saturday, Cakes by Robert made our dream wedding cake! We couldn't be happier. The cake was spectacular, and made exactly as i described. The cake was delicious and we couldn't be more impressed. We would like to thank Nikki and the team at Cakes by Robert for making our day so special by providing the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. Well done team!!!! Your creation took my breath away!

Ordered a dairy free tear away cake for my son’s birthday for the first time. I was hoping the 4-5 stars for regular cakes translate to dairy free versions - NOPE. The cake looked incredible but the chocolate cupcakes were so dry, crumbly and fell apart so easily. The icing tasted like plain sugar. It lacked any depth in flavour. My son who loves cupcakes didn’t even bother with seconds when we offered. As an amateur baker, I have made dairy free cakes that were much more moist, and dairy free buttercream that was fluffy and creamy. If I had the time and if I could decorate as nicely as the bakers here, I wouldn’t have needed to buy any. 2 stars for how great it looked and how they do take food allergies seriously to ensure there is no cross contamination. But the dairy free recipe was subpar. Won’t be buying dairy free ever again.

Amazing job on the custom cake for my son's 1st birthday / dol. They made a little fondant version of my son in his traditional Korean hanbok. The cake was delicious. Great communication and service from Andrea.

3rd time ordering a cake for my Grandson here and ask if they can do a Pokemon cake this time...not only that it taste good it came out amazing! Everyone loved it and most of all our Grandson was so happy..I don't have to worry about my Grandson's peanut allergies too. Thanks Cakes by Robert see you guys next year!

Despite being told to avoid this bakery due to lack of customer service, I still took a chance to order our cupcakes & birthday cake for our daughter’s 2nd birthday party. We have had Cakes by Robert sheet cakes in the past, and they were always delicious! The cake was good, flavour wise. The decorations were not that great. The chocolate drip was very amateur… it wasn’t smooth, and it has ripples in it. I could of did a better job… I also had to buy and add my own sprinkles to the top of the cake as they were not added as pictured in the picture I provided. The cupcakes were lacking serious flavour. The chocolate cupcakes were crumbly and dry…. The vanilla cupcakes had zero flavour. They tasted OK if they were cold from the fridge… lol but that’s not how you’re supposed to eat cupcakes. They should come to room temperature for the ultimate flavour. This wasn’t really an option since these cupcakes had ZERO flavour. For how inexpensive our order was, maybe it was worth it? However I will not be ordering from here again. Nor will I be recommending it to our friends or family.
