Rarely these days do I derive actual enjoyment from my in-store experiences. Kim and crew deliver that: reasonable prices, great advice when they can and overall quality product. They are attentive, very friendly and surely know their stuff. A great experience all round. Jason Ward, WARDS LAWYERS.
I used Emmerson to prepare the plans for my cottage and sourced most of the material from them. I was very happy with help I got through-out the process, the lumber was good quality and the delivery folks were great. Don kept track of my orders and helped answer my questions along the way. Emmerson is clearly a well-managed family business that cares about the products and services they offer.
Went to this store today to make a purchase and the person who served me had to be the most ignorant and arrogant person I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I am local and try to frequent my neighborhood establishments, but I will be hard pressed to shop there again. I'll stick to Home Hardware and Canadian Tire.
The Staff at Emmerson lumber are truly and incredible bunch of people. My mother was a very good friend of the owner and when she passed that summer I was getting some lumber and when the yard staff looked at the name they enquired if I was related and I said yes she was my mom. He passed on his condolences and informed me she was well regarded there and that she would be missed. It's that kind of relationship you can build here. It just really made me feel good about coming back.
Going to Emmerson's is like going home. You know the people. They say hello, great you warmly, provide great service and willing to share advice if you need it. I always enjoy my visits to Emmerson's.
Great customer service !! There was some confusion over a delivery made to an incorrect 911 address. A phone call from me and Emmerson Lumber made it right..the same day ! Couldn't ask for better !
Helpful staff on the phone and at the order desk. Found the items needed to get the job done!
Left snowblower in for repair. When I went back to pickup after it was repaired it would not start. Still had the same symptoms prior to taking in to be fixed. Approached the counter to explain and a mechanic came out right away. The mechanic was able to deduct the issue and provided myself with the advice on to fix the problem myself. I have no idea why they did the work I paid them for when it was not fixed in the first place. You be the judge.
Great place. Good prices. Really friendly staff. The guys in the yard who help you out are all great guys. Been shopping here for over 20 years
We have been buying building materials for our cottage from Emmerson Lumber for years and the service has always been great. But our latest experience has been fantastic. Sherri and Roger from the Haliburton store have bent over backwards to help us select and measure new windows for our sun room. We thank you very much!
