Emma's Cafe & Convenience

My mom managed to have Emma squeeze my birthday cake into her very busy schedule. I can see why she is so busy. THE BEST chocolate peanut butter cake by far. The peanut butter icing is absolutely incredible. I'm 9 months pregnant and very grateful

Great little convenience store! The cafe isn't operating anymore hasn't for years, but the convenience side has a cooler full of sandwiches and wraps, plus homemade cupcakes, cheesecake, and more! A good place to swing by for a coffee and some snacks before a day at the lake.

Its good to have a corner store in the neighborhood. I just miss dnb

The bakery is closed but we got coffee from the convenience store side and it was much better than I expected! We had just black coffee and it was perfectly made - good local roast and brewed well. The owners were very friendly, and the store has a nice small selection of goodies and local arts/craft goods. Thank you!

The old D&B convenience store has taken a serious turn for the better. The renovated interior is now bright, clean, and open, and features the wares of local artisans in addition to the convenience essentials - plus a soft serve ice cream machine.nnEmma's Cafe To Go is attached to the store, sharing the friendly staff and rustic decor. The indoor seating area is quite small, so bring a couple close friends rather than a large party, or just drop by to take advantage of the To Go option. With a relaxed atmosphere and generously portioned food prepared fresh, Emma's is a new hidden treasure in Cold Lake North. I will definitely be back.
