Emerald's

Emeralds never disappoints. They have a broad selection on their menu and you can't go wrong with any of the items. The Portobello mushroom appetizer is amazing! A steak is not complete without the bourbon sauce. They have the best salad bar in town and always have delicious and creative soups. Their staff knows how to treat customers and their bar is one of the nicest around.

Absolutely love this place. I moved an hour away from Algona over a year ago, but make a point to stop into Emerald's at least once a month - can't keep me away! Friendly service, cold beer, great food, super cool environment. OH AND THAT SALAD BAR MMMMMM. 6/5 stars. These fools giving anything less than 5 stars must be impossible to please, and probably ask to "speak to the manager" everywhere they go.

The waitress was very attentive, the salad bar is included in the pricing. They have gluten free options available.

Emeralds Fine Food and Libations is the place to go when you are in Algona, Iowa. I was pleasantly surprised by the waitstaff. They are very knowledgeable of the menu. I was waited on by a nice young lady, I believe her name was Sarah. She was very busy the night we were in and she handled herself very professionally as did the other staff members. We ordered an array of menu items and it was all so delicious. I highly recommend trying out Emeralds for your next meal. At the end of the night the owners came out and visited with the patrons. They made sure everyone was doing alright. Very respectable establishment.

We dine at Emerald's at least once a week. The food and atmosphere are awesome. The prime rib dinner and Swiss chicken sandwich are my favorite. Great soups and salad bar. The servers are friendly. I would highly recommend Emerald's to anyone visiting the area!
