Having been patients at the clinic as a family of 5 for almost 10 years, we consider Chris and Shannon an extension of our family. Dr Shannon and Dr. Christopher have been nothing but fantastic when it comes to my needs. I came in the clinic with lots of pain and within a few weeks pain had subsided. I credit Dr. Shannon for listening and giving me the best care plan. Hannah is amazing too, she's so kind! Sheri and Ellen are always smiling and a welcome happy face!
While visiting from out of town I had a very painful back issue. Contacted this clinic and was told I needed to have an NS health card, even though NS health does not cover an adjustment, and I would need to pay out of pocket. Not too sure why I need an NS Health card for something I would be paying out of pocket. I was also told they would need a month of treatments to help me out. Not sure how they were able to figure this out over the phone without assessing me first. A very poor experience without even making it into the clinic. Call anyone else first.
The staff is second to none - friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Shannon explains what she is doing so that I understand the effects and benefits of the adjustments and recommended stretches. I believe she truly cares about helping people feel better and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I’m looking forward to my next visit and continuing on this journey to better health!
As a professional dance artist and athlete I put my body through a lot of extreme variables, having regular adjustments really helps with my maximum performance capacity. But beyond the extreme physical is the simple day to day - mood, headaches, neck pain from too much computer time, sleep and my digestion is aided by chiropractic! Elmsdale Chiropractic is fun, supportive and real people aiming for their best. Two great doctors with big hearts wanting to help other real people.
We love the friendly atmosphere and wonderful service and care. Parker 15 and I have been going since February, it has made great changes in both of us. I sleep much better, migraines to a minimum, over all feeling much better. When Parker started the base of his skull and top of his vertebrae were almost touching after a few months of care the natural space has come back! Thank you both Dr. Shannon & Dr. Chris & your great staff for our continued care.
I have been a patient for the past few years at Elmsdale community chiropractic centre, Dr. Chris and Dr. Shannon have helped tremendously with my back pain and headaches caused from scoliosis. The whole team is amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming and they always go the extra mile to help, in any way that they can! Highly recommended :

I was the most skeptical person about visiting a chiropractor and Dr. Chris has totally changed my outlook on life. My back was a mess and I was in constant pain. Now 3 years later, I can run regularly, ride my bike for 50K and am so much more active. I would recommend everyone there, the staff has been so helpful and kind. Thank you all! If you are looking for a Chiropractic team, this is the place!
I have been travelling from Truro to the Elmsdale Chiropractic Centre for two + years now. First it was three times per week, then twice a week and finally down to every two weeks. I have been diagnosed with degenerative disk decease along with several other problems, too many to mention. When I first meet Dr. Lerner and Dr. Coffin they were both very professional, not to mention the rest of the staff. The first time I walked in, or should say hobbled in to their office I was treated to a back massage with the back Pro-Adjuster then onto the Spinal Decompression Table which is my personal favorite. Today along with my regular meds and Dr. Lerner and Dr. Coffins help, I walk up straight and most days I am pain free. I sincerely believe in the Elmsdale Community Chiropractic Centre, with Dr. Lerner and Dr. Coffin and their team. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for Chiropractic services. I give them a solid 10.
