Elkhart Campground

I was in town to have work done on my RV and thought this campground would be a nice place to spend the night and be ready for an early appointment. Instead, I was disappointed. The 30 amp electrical box did not have a switch to kill the power before I plugged in. It was already about sundown so I stayed but without 110, I didn't have some conveniences I was expecting. Even though the staff was friendly, I would look for another campground next time.

Worst r.v. park I've been to in the United states. They have no working showers. They keep the laundry room locked from 23 hrs out of the day so don't expect to do laundry. The staff is pretty much not around anywhere. They just leave and leave a sign on the office to call their cell phone that they won't actually answer. Place is a scumbag slum I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here.

Largest campground we have seen. Maybe to serve the needs of the RV Capitol of the World. Facilities/amenities are fine. Our only problem was that they have a large multi-use building that is used by local organizations. We were fairly close to it and on the nights we were there the using groups were noisy and stayed late.

Very nice clean campground. The reason why I did not give it 5 stars was because my husband called that day we went camping to see if they had full hookups and the gentleman said yes and my husband asked if we needed a reservation for that day and that we would probably be there within the next 3 hours and he told us we did not need one that they had plenty of full hookup spots when we got there he said there wasn't any and I explained that we were told we didn't need a reservation and there was plenty of spots for full hookup he said he could give us one with just electric and water and I told him we really wanted full hookup but we would do with just electric and water he did end up finding us a lot with full hookup so my advice is make a reservation even if they tell you you don't need to.

We stayed for 4 days while I had to do business in town. Absolutely loved this RV Park! It is very quiet very well-kept and the sites are a nice size. They have an incredibly huge dog run area which we used every day with our two very energetic dogs. We would highly recommend this park and will definitely come back and stay here again.
