El Tres

I have visited El Tres several times now and have tried several of their drinks and menu items. I highly recommend going in a group of 4+ and trying the the Chef Tasting - Small Plate. You will leave stuffed to the gills and will get to sample a larger portion of the menu at once. The can customize it to your liking - if you want it really hot or no cilantro or you hate fish or whatever - and then they design a menu of appetizers, fresh house made salsas and chips, tacos, a main dish and a dessert. The drinks menu is tres expensive - $12 per in many cases - but the tequila is top shelf and worth the indulgence occasionally. The service is also good - some servers are better than others, but generally knowledgeable and wiling to explain the dishes and ingredients. The venue is not large but it holds a comfortable number of people so it strikes a good balance between feeling upbeat and busy while still giving you the personal attention you want at this price point. Per person you are looking at $20-$35 before alcohol. After alcohol you could easily crest $100 per person if you are trying any of the margaritas or fancy drinks. I super recommend the flautas - they are so tasty, I have ordered them as my main course.

The food here is amazing and the service is wonderful. The flavours together in each dish are so succulent.

Absolutely amazing service from Jordan, he was very informative on the food and drinks. Gave great recommendations. Great food and atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

la comida que ellos nos cocinaron no era autentica! esta comida es algo que yo le cocino para mi perro. yo no recomedira este lugar a nadien... puro guerros jugando con comida y diciendo que es autentica. The food that they served us was not authentic in any way! This food is what I'd cook for my dog. I would never recommend this restuarant to anyone... pure gringos just playing with food and then saying its authentic.
