Story

Located within the beautiful Water Garden Pavilion next to the skating rink/splash pad at Prince Arthur’s Landing, Bight Restaurant & Bar is a full service, fully licensed establishment. Bight is open daily for lunch and dinner offering seating for 90 in the main restaurant and bar area, 45 on the seasonal patio, with a cocktail and reception area for an additional 30 to 125 people in the adjacent Mariner’s Hall.

Our vision for Bight is to utilize the striking scenery of the waterfront and showcase the world-class urban development that has occurred at Prince Arthur’s Landing. We pride ourselves on supporting our local community farms, purveyors, and charities. We value our tourism partnerships and promoting the area and our unique community.

Overpriced for what it is.nnThe atmosphere was pretty spacious and clean and the waitresses were pleasant and quickly got our orders.nnI ordered the Tarrymore smash burger and my lady ordered the Red curry Tagliatelle. It didn't take long before we got our meals and while my burger was pretty good, I'm surprised that the fries were not anything special. After all the item was 22 dollars, I was kinda expecting maybe some fancier fries. The ketchup looked and tasted made in house which was good but that was it.nnThe Red Curry Tagliatelle was 33 dollars and well....anyone half competent in the kitchen could have made that easily with a quarter of the cost. The only thing that sounds kinda remotely fancy from the dish was the tagliatelle noodles and anyone who has travelled outside a small town should know it's not that extravagant. The chicken cubes in the dish were dry from being overcooked and the red curry mostly tasted like peanut with a bit of spice.nnThe meal wasn't bad by any means but it's confusing when you pay a lot for a pretty average meal.
such an amazing meal! our server was excellent. he was very charismatic and attentive, and made great food and wine recommendations. the atmosphere of the restaurant is quite nice as well. our food was very tasty and well worth the price! i highly recommend the red curry tagliatelle!
Where to begin.nOur server Nick was fantastic, constantly checking and and ensuring our dining experience was positive. Nick recommended the burger in their lunch menu and it was FANTASTIC. Everything about it was perfect and I dare to say even better than the Tomlin’s Tuesday night burger special… the burger was fresh and flavourful and you can tell was crafted with high quality ingredients— look at the crisp on the cheese. I will be returning for another burger soon! Thanks Nick and Bight!!
We had our wedding here in Sept 2024. The staff and management made our celebration so easy to plan. The georgeous atmosphere and delicious food passed canapes filled our guests hearts and stomachs!nnThank you Nic and Mina!!nXoxo Derek and Michele
I went here for lunch because of the high reviews, but didn't read any of the low ones. The ahi tuna plate was extremely salty. I ate less than half the plate and informed the waitress that i wasn't very satisfied with it and wouldn't eat the rest. The waitress was nice, but would have been nice to have the manager handle the situation to ensure guests have a good experience.nnThey do have a nice atmosphere inside, and a nice patio, but unfortunately i won't be back as there is a lack of quality in food and service.
