El Sombrero

This location is a mom & pop local business which has been around for well over 15+ years now. I first ate here way back in 2006-2007. They had to shutter their second location on Financial Drive which was my go-to place for burritos etc. and I still have not found a suitable replacement since. My wife and I went to Starbucks to grab our usual drinks, then we decided to drive over here to grab some Mexican fare because it has been a long while since we indulged in a good burrito. I grabbed my usual chicken burrito, veggie burrito and the chilli Mex fries. The burritos are generous and it will fill you right up. The taste remained consistent over the years, and the owners are always here to make your order fresh and with a smile. This restaurant is absolutely the best authentic Mexican food in the area. The service is fast, delicious enchiladas and other dishes. They also have an app to order food daily, from breakfast to lunch and dinner options. Thank you! I got the veggie enchiladas and I absolutely loved every bite! The veggie enchilada comes with a side of rice and beans and the portions are so filling. I love the authenticity of the food and the gorgeous outdoor dining, as well as the sangrias!

I went here for takeout during my lunch break at work. I ordered chicken tacos for the first time and I will be going back. The paying machine wasn’t working the day I went because the power went off in the area and I didn’t have any cash on me. The guy who I’m not sure if he was the owner, he let me take the food without paying and trusted me enough to go back and pay. I went back later in the evening after work. I enjoyed my tacos and I will be coming back to try more items on the menu.

What a delightful surprise this was! From the great menu selection I had the fajitas with soup and soda. Everything made fresh and tasted fantastic. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere; everything from the staff, the food, and even other patrons! Who incidentally verified the fajitas recommendation before my order. Will definitely making a return visit soon.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Mississauga. I had a wet burrito. Good ambience and authentic food. Wonderful service.

These pictures don't do anything jsutice. This is the best food in the city. I've come here for around 15 years and can't get enough of it. The family run business has great service and great food. In the summer, the garage door is open and the patio is the perfect place for a beer and their burger. I've eaten everything here but the salad and nothing is the wrong choice. Enjoy!

Always a great experience. Enjoy a meal with friends. Nachos with beef, chicken burrito & chicken quesadillas. Food was made fresh and hot to serve. Portions were just right. Prices are very reasonable. The staff were friendly and quick to serve. Will be by to enjoy another meal soon.

I really enjoyed the Tacos at El Sombrero! I had the Steak and also tried the Salmon. It was fresh and delicious : The Wet Burrito was something new and interesting! VERY filling and very saucy If you’re in the Mississauga area and looking for some delicious mexican food, stop by!!!
