El Charro St. Clair Shores

I was thoroughly disappointed in my experience here. I visited on Sunday evening February 25th. I ordered two pick 3 combos to go. The service was decent. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I had zero beans with my meal. I called the restaurant and was told that the cashier forgot to tell me there were no beans. I would have wanted to know before because it would changed my order. Secondly, the beef in the tacos was bland. I had recommended this place to my family because I often visit the Troy location and enjoy it. I will not be going there again.

Waited too long after ordering through the drive through. The food was a warm and I would rate as average flavor.

Very very good each I've been there which has only been two times as I live 250 miles north in Michigan though.

I love this place! Efficient, friendly, clean. Even though this isn't Oaxaca, Mexico or even a place with a huge Latin population like Los Angeles this place does solid Latin cuisine. It's St Clair Shores! And these guys do a great job with fast and fresh Latin food at fair prices. They even have a drive thru. Keep doing what you're doing El Charro and don't ever leave!

I loved the food, as usual. Service was not good! I ordered a carryout meal, I had been sitting at the doctor all morning and I just wanted to go home and eat my food. I paid for it and the lady at the counter said "we'll bring it out to you shortly" I waited by the door, not necessarily expecting them to bring it out to me but hoping I could just walk up to the counter to get it. Instead they put the bag on the counter, faced the receipt with the name on it toward them and 3 employees watched me stand there and never once said "here's your bag." or "is there anything I can help you with?" They knew I was waiting for my food and they just stared at me while I waited. Food: good, service: mediocre.
