This place was awesome. The vibe and decor was really cool. The amount of beer on tap is insane! The manger was really nice and actually gave me a tour to show how it all works. The food was also delicious. I went with the broasted chicken and it was great. I’ll definitely be back.
Such a fun place! Got a seat right away, and the server was at our table almost immediately. A phenomenal line up of beers, and you can get a sample if you are unsure of what to choose. I got boneless chicken wings and my husband got the broasted chicken. Both were amazing! The portion size was big, and I had lots of leftovers. If you want a drink, stick with the beers here, as a mixed drink is a bit pricey.
What an awesome place right here in Des Moines! Super friendly staff roomy super comfortable atmosphere great food and tons and tons of beer on tap to select. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. The chicken fried steak taste like it was frozen and came from swans. But all the other stuff is great especially mom‘s pot roast!
Stopped in for lunch. Was a great experience. Aryana kept an eye on us to make sure we have everything we need. Lunch included the beer flight, pork tenderloin with onion rings, and spam egg and cheese with onion rings. Special kudos to management for not blaring their stereo! Thank you!
Great beer selection. Delicious food, hands down top 3 best fried chicken I've had in my life. If I'm ever near Des Moines I will be coming here for sure
Great atmosphere and the service was good. SO many beers on tap to try. The food was overall good but came out almost suspiciously fast. Overall, my family and I had a good time and would for sure come back to try other items on the menu and another flight. Parking: They had their own parking lot which was nice given parking can be hard to come by in this area.
The Jamaican Jerk boneless wings are amazing! I having been getting an order every weekend for the last year. It’s one of the best places a Mexican like me can get some flavor in this town! I like to save a few for Monday then open my lunch box a little before lunch to let the sweet smell of allspice permeate the jobsite.
I hadn’t been here in a few years and stopped by for a team lunch. Loved the beer selection and the food was great. Our server was also really nice and our group had no complaints. In addition to great food and beer, they also had great mirrors to snap a quick selfie so people on the ‘gram know you’re out enjoying a cold one.
Massive cider and local brewed beer selection. Environment is awesome, staff is friendly, service was great, food just ok. Massive outdoor patio seating area for summer time. This would be hands down the hotspot during the summer time months. Small parking lot but lots of parking on the streets. Bathroom is small but very clean. Overall great experience and would recommend anyone visiting town to check this place out. Kid-friendliness: Definitely not a kid friendly environment. Maybe more so during the summer months outside. Wheelchair accessibility: I don't recall seeing wheelchair accessible. I remember walking up a set of steps to get into the establishment.
Although this is really good, definitely not worth $14. They used to give much more food and have bigger tenders and would be $10-$11. Basically went with a smaller portion and increased the rate. Not happy about that…
