Eglinton Station Medical Centre

I was so surprised to see such unfavourable reviews for this medical centre and thought that people need to start sharing their good experience, and not only bad - so I'll start with myself. I've been with this clinic pretty much from the opening. My first appointment was as a walk-in patient and after I was lucky to be accepted by Dr. Singh as a patient. During my whole experience, everyone who works in this clinic is amazing. Front desk stuff is always helpful and welcoming, I always received follow up calls on all the matters. I was visiting this clinic as a walk in, when my doctor was on vacation - no complaints, every time I got professional help and in a timely manner. And Dr. Singh is an amazing doctor, very supportive, thorough to help. Now it's my second pregnancy with him before I get transferred to an Obgyn, and I feel so well taken care of. And I live in Newmarket and still don't want to change my family doctor, because I know how challenging it can be to find a good one. Please keep up such a great work, thank you!

Hurt my foot and showed up there without an appointment. They went out of their way to squeeze me in. The reception lady was very helpful. Extremely satisfied with the professionalism of the physician at this walk in clinic. Had an Xray for my foot and the doc promptly called as soon as she received the result. Thank you.

Thanks to this clinic, I am alive and very grateful. Dr.Elena Pankratieva was our doctor. She saved my life! If I'm alive today, I owe it to her. Thanks to her meticulous work, I was diagnosed with cancer early stage, and she gave me a lot of morale. I saw her incredible support and believed I would not die and survive as a result. Thank you very much to everyone who works at this clinic!!!

Shut this place down immediately they are not equipped to be a walk in clinic. Went there to see a doctor and was greeted with a hilarious note on the door that they have doctors only Monday and Wednesday and you need to book a week in advance. What a joke. There is no way to give zero stars but if there was it would be zero. Why would anyone want medical assistance from staff who don’t even know the definition of walk in clinic.

This was my first time at Eglinton Station Medical Centre and I had a nice experience. The staff were cordial. Dr. Yang was thorough in her examination and addressed all my concerns. I would recommend Eglinton Station Medical Centre.

A professional staff who are clearly compassionate and understanding towards patients. Highly recommend. I feel blessed to have Dr. Shokri as my family doctor. Thank you for everything you guys do!

My experience with Dr.Lui has been absolutely awful. She missed a pretty routine infection which lead to about 6 weeks of intense pain which lead me to seek help through walks in. She disregarded a lot of my symptoms and blamed them on anxiety when in reality I actually had a medical condition that required treatment. A simple issue has taken over 3 months since it wasn't treated in time. I have shared my concerns with her and I got the distinct impression that she really didn't care too much about my feedback. The only feedback I received in terms of my care was that I was rostered and should avoid walk-ins. I realize there is a chargeback but after not getting treated properly for weeks I'm glad I took my health in my own hands; I probably saved myself a trip to the ER due to a kidney infection. Honestly a awful experience with the clinic and the front desk personal is pretty rude at times.

I've had 0 issues with this centre. The doctors have all been respectful and attentive. Dr.lui is my GP and she is great ! She validates your concerns and addresses them. They book same day appointments. Yes you do wait 30-40 minutes sometimes before your appointment, but that's not them disrespecting your time- that's the nature of healthcare. Some appts take longer than expected etc. Would you prefer they rush an elder out of the room so you don't wait 30 minutes ? It happens.

They say "walk-in" but it's barely an available service. The website doesn't show the schedule as it says it would, receptionists don't pick up the phone, their walk-in system is weird cuz it's booked for a week straight I don't think that's how walk-ins are supposed to work and when you inevitably go in person to figure out if you can see a doctor, the receptionists are EXTREMELY rude to you clearly trying to get you to just leave. Save your time. Go somewhere else.

I’ve had nothing but lovely experiences here as a patient. The receptionists are patient and always helpful and my doctor is efficient, knowledgeable and kind.
