My friend took me to this place with two other friends . I fell in love with the space as we walked in. The restaurant is airy and bright. Our server was friendly and had suggestions on what to try. I ordered Keto plate which was delicious. The food taste fresh . The only thing you have to wait for your order as it takes a while but while you are waiting you are sipping on your choice of coffee or tea . It's a nice place to meet up with friends for breakfast or brunch or take the whole family. The prices are not so bad Parking: Lots of parking spaces
Came with friends. Was busy but managed to get a table. Server was nice and took drink orders right away, but follow up and the food coming itself was a little slow. Food was hot though, good portioned and decent value overall. No jam with the dish, think you have to ask for it if you want with your toast
We've been coming to Eggsmart for the past few months. Management changes have been pleasant. Service is much faster and more customer-oriented. Even though there was a bit of a wait it was a Saturday-understandable, food was excellent and plenty for all the picky eaters in my family. Definitely one of our go-to places for breakfast.
I have to admit that we picked the worst possible time to go to Eggsmart: 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Of course the place was full and we were informed that the wait for a table would be around 30 minutes. But we were near the head of the line, had a $5-off coupon that we’d received in the mail, and weren’t in any particular hurry, so we elected to stay and wait. However, we weren’t too happy when we saw a couple of tables become available and get cleaned and ready for use, and were told we’d have to wait another 10 minutes in the entryway “until the kitchen caught up”! Seriously?!! In our opinion, the smart thing to do would have been to seat people at tables as soon as possible and get a cup of coffee in front of them! We would have been much happier there than standing an extra 10 minutes in a cold & drafty entryway “waiting for the kitchen to catch up”! Once we were finally seated and had opened the menu, the beautiful picture of the Keto Breakfast Plate immediately caught my eye. I’m not on a keto diet, but I was looking for something different since I can get great bacon & eggs at home and didn’t just want to fill up on cheap carbs in the form of toast & homefries. This plate featured 2 eggs any style, 3 slices of double-smoked bacon, and 2 avocado halves topped with pico de gallo & crumbled feta cheese, all on a bed of fresh baby spinach, and served with little bowls of walnuts and fruit strawberries & blueberries. I know not everyone likes avocado, but I do, so when the server came to take our order, I simply pointed to the picture and said that I wanted the exact same plate. My wife opted for the more traditional breakfast plate of 3 eggs over-easy with 4 sausages, toast, homefries, and a small bowl of fresh fruit. We probably waited another 20 minutes for our food, but our friendly server had gotten us some coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice which, at $5.29, wasn’t cheap, but was certainly delicious!, so we were content to sit and talk and watch the world go by. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals! You’ll notice in the photos that I traded one of my slices of bacon for one of my wife’s sausages : My only complaint was that my scrambled eggs were barely warm by the time I got my plate like it had been sitting on the counter too long rather than being brought immediately to the table while they were still hot and seemed a little overdone and rubbery instead of fluffy. I think next time I’ll order my eggs over-easy instead. And I would have loved a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkling of salt & pepper, and a few drops of lemon juice on the spinach leaves to make them tastier, but that would probably go against keto diet rules, so that's okay : In summary, I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Eggsmart to anyone looking for a good breakfast in the area. Good food, good portions, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. We plan to come back but at a day & time when they’re not so busy!
I've gone to several breakfast restaurants and Eggsmart Kitchener was by far the best. The food were delicious. My friends and family enjoyed our meal time there.
Got an egg florentine. Tasted good until I discovered GLASS in my mouth. I also had swallowed some & throat has been hurting ever since. Was horrified & told the server who voided the dish off our meal. No other apology/compensation was offered. The service starter off as being friendly but when I called this issue out it looked like they just wanted us out of there quietly and quickly. Will not be returning which is a shame as the menu looked good. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options like salads Kid-friendliness: Great spot for kids! Parking: Pioneer plaza lots of parking Dietary restrictions: You can let the server know of dietary information and they will try to accommodate
Delicious breakfast & amazing options! I was happy to find a breakfast place in the area that is open till 3pm. Yummy iced coffee & I recommend the salmon eggs Benedict. I’ll definitely be back!Recommended dishesEggs Benedict
Met my girlfriends there for a birthday brunch. Served quickly and promptly with our orders. The waitress was polite friendly and knew the menu well enough to make suggestions to us. The atmosphere was very nice to meet friends for a hour or so to catch up. The restaurant is exceptionally clean. We will be back as we also enjoyed the food that was ordered. Very good and great flavor. Thanks for making the time there memorable.
Absolutely fantastic dining experience. The service was fast, the waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and pretty cheap too, for the portion given, compared to other restaurants. It tasted delicious, and healthy. Variety of options for everyone that are meat lovers or veggie lovers. Each meals werr served with a side of bread and potato. ​The interior of the restaurant was bright, airy, warm and cozy. The washroom was very clean and smells nice. Pleasantly very surprised with the restaurant, the foods, the service, the waitress and the owner is very friendly and nice. Will definitely go back again for more delicious meals! Wayyyyyy better than the other restaurants that served breakfast I've ever been too
It was my first visit the Eggsmart restaurant. Absolutely fantastic dining, service, and breakfast. My family enjoyed our breakfast time there.
