Jimmy's Lunch

This place is a gem in the city. The menu is simple and the food is well done. The interior sets you back in time while you sip on something hot and simply enjoy. I appreciate that it’s filled with regulars who come here often. It’s a community on its own. NOTE: this place is Cash only.

I was there again in June 2022 two times, I had an egg omelet with ham in it, home fries a side of bacon fresh coffee. Lisa looked after us like a king what a very nostalgic spot, i’ve been here a number of times my daughter turned me onto the spot just a good East Coast style breakfast a working man’s breakfast. Bring cash they don’t do credit cards or debit cards #OldSchool

Oh I adore Jimmy's Lunch for the most exceptional breakfast in the entire region! Yes, it's true. Real home fries, extra large eggs, always and the perfect bacon, coffee and if you want more toast or home fries, it's in the house! Incredible treatment if their customers. Not a single place can hold a candle to Jimmy's. The service is second to NONE! BEST PLACE #1

Vintage vintage vintage. My first experience at this location and I’ve lived here for 46 years of my life. Why did I drive by this place so many times and just keep going?? I’ll ask myself this a million times. Anyways! Such a cool cool place old jukebox old toys lots of pictures and front end of a car behind the counter. The old stools at the front counter I’m sounding so old but this place is something to be excited about. This brings back so many memories of the way Kitchener was the way I remembered it. It’s only open till 1300 who cares support local. This I will as I relived some of my happiest times as a kid at this establishment. Ok!! Enough about the decor on to food. It was more than reasonable and the portions were perfect. It’s cash only and I absolutely loved that. Service was good food came out hot and tasted great. I will be sitting up front the next time I enjoyed the back room but the front is calling me. Parking: It’s around the back not to many spots but it’s not a huge establishment. Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t believe there’s wheelchair accessible.

One of a Kind amazing place for breakfast plain ordinary simple prepared well quickly and at very reasonable prices endless toast and home fries free of charge. Personally I avoid Saturdays one because it's fully filled no waiting outside but filled up and I pity the two people that lovingly make the food rapidly a lot of work for them they're sweating so maybe pick another day

Visit at least once a week. Owner present & sits with patrons. Decor is the owners 50,s memrobialia collection.......juke box, Elvis, Marylin, cowboys, statuary. Even worth a visit just to view. Free all you can eat fries & all you can eat toast. Staff very speedy & attentive. As a pensioner on a budget .... for two generous plates of home fries, eggs, large thiiiick peameal under $18.00 breakfast for two !!! .......I feel grateful to leave a looney or tooney and a twenty. Staff trully hurries sooo much, I feel unkind to visit if they are extra busy ie : Sat am . Kw's original well-known breakfast stop. You haven't visited this area until you visited Jimmy's.....robin Parking: Lots, ....of parking steps away. Right of busiest street in town

It's a great locally run restaurant with great food and big portions at an amazing price. Has a 60's dinner look that is welcoming. It will have you comming back for more!! Btw the pancakes are huge!!Food: 5/5

Had bottom less coffee +++ It's good at an affordable price this place has amazeing decor if you like retro signs and retro classic stuff this will keep your eyes more then busy and if that record player in the corner works I'm in love with this place didn't have time to ask as I noticed it on my way out very impressed with this place Parking: Dosent look like it has much when you drive by it but when you relize there's a big lot behind it's impressive for its proximity to the downtown core

I didn't even know this place was there and was pleasantly surprised when we went inside. Great atmosphere - so much to look at and so much history in there. Food was great and the prices were more than reasonable!Food: 5/5
