I have been wanting to go here for quite some time now and I have to tell you I am soooo glad that I did. I loved the experience. The burgers were so big, the buns were homemade. Gordon Ramsey if your out there and your reading this, you need to try these burgers. Best burgers in town. All fresh. It is weighed out at a pound of meat for a full burger and 1/2 pound for the Effie Jr.'s.

Happened upon Effie's while exploring the area and decided to drop in. Normally when I see large burgers like this, they are "fun". This burger was a classic "diner" style, well seasoned, good sear, toasted bun etc. Now you just have to scale that normal comment to 2 - 1 pound patties and probably 12" bun that you can cut in quarters and share. If anyone is comparing burgers this size. This one beats the Meers Longhorn Burger in OK hands down. So novelty you can actually enjoy, in a neat little place, with friendly folk.

May the dear lord save me.... I have surely died and gone to heaven. I had heard of what a wonderful establishment this, and today I finally had the opportunity to visit. The atmosphere was amazing, we had a very friendly server, and the FOOD. . . I am without words. The curly fries were better than I've ever had, OMG the things I would do for that burger. 1 whole pound of fresh beef between a delicious bun and the best toppings you could ask for. I can't wait to return, it will definitely become a good tradition of mine.

You already know that the burgers are huge if you're checking reviews. They were also really good. I bought a cheese burger and ate it for three meals. I was in there on a Tuesday and it was still pretty busy.

Burger was huge and very good. The wife and I split the burger and still could only eat half of it. Place was clean and friendly staff. We will go there again.

Used to be a lot better. They are overcooking everything. Burger was sooooo dry. There were large pieces of onions mixed in with the chopped and I think they were the yellow onions and not the white so..... indigestion. Bummer! Service was great.

I lived in Lewiston growing up. Effie’s always had legendary burgers. It is one of my few childhood memories that never disappoints when revisited. Love the burgers, fies and onion rings.

Torie did an amazing job she definitely makes this place one of a kind. And Byron did an amazing job cooking my food. Will definitely be back soon.
