I’ve been coming to Lifemark Sport Institute over the past few years whenever any injury comes up. I would 100% recommend anyone seeking physiotherapy to see Cregg Webber. I injured my back severely about 3.5 years ago, and Cregg was the only physiotherapist that I saw that was able to correct the issue. He’s helped with my back multiple times, as well as a broken foot and I couldn’t have asked for better guidance through rehab. If you’re in need of a physiotherapist, go see Cregg, it’s easily worth the drive, cost, or any reason at all.
I've been coming to this clinic for awhile now. I see Dr.Gregg. and all I can say is this clinic is amazing. Everyone from the front desk, to the person I'm sorry I forgot your name who comes in to check on me before Dr Gregg. ALL have been so incredibly accommodating, very thorough, professional, compassionate, kind, very informative. The man who sees me before Dr Gregg and Dr gregg himself always take the time to explain everything and check everything. I've never felt rushed or like I was lacking anything ever. I always feel like all my concerns are heard and looked into or explained. The treatment plan feels right to me. I do have many health issues and see various drs, and this is the only clinic I actually look forward to coming to. I don't understand where the bad reviews are coming from? It's so opposite to everything I've experienced here. I wish the rest of the health care system was more like this clinic. We'd be so much far better off. I truly thank everyone here at this clinic for all the proper care and attentiveness to my issues. . Life is rough and we are all going through things. But I've never seen it there. no grouchy or dismissive attitudes, etc. I've never seen that before and for that many times I've been there. It's always consistently a good experience.
Tore my Achilles Tendon Last October. Went to at least 4 different places and was referred to Dr. Gregg. Can't say how thankful I am to be directed to this facility as they have been extremely amazing throughout and during my road to recovery journey. Hats off to Dr. Gregg and the team. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. The only place to actually take time, listen and answer your questions. Thank you again for building my confidence during this tough time for me and helping me along the way. -Manny
I wish i had never come to this clinic. I got diagnosed with left shoulder bursitis in January. I saw Dr. Gregg first week of February. I had been taking Advil twice a day for a week when I saw him and didn't have too much pain yet. But he put me on Naproxen for 3 weeks and said i shouldn't start any physio yet. But 2 weeks after seeing him, my right shoulder also started hurting. When i saw him after the 3 weeks, he gave me an injection for the left shoulder, which by now was hurting a lot more than when i first saw him. He said i didn't need any imaging for my right shoulder and refused to give me an injection for it as well. He told me i had to wait another 4 weeks before starting physio. I deeply regret following his advise. I didn't have too much pain at the beginning. As a result of waiting a total of 7 weeks before starting any sort of exercise, both my shoulders got worse and i started having pain in my neck and back too. He never gave me any advice about the fact that I could apply for WCB. I wasn't familiar with WCB, so by the time I learnt about it, it was too late after my injury.
When your told the only treatment available for your hip joint pain and discomfort is a needle with meds directly injected into said joint. No this won’t fix the reasons I have this pain and no one is going to listen to my fears as to why i don’t want this needle in my joint. Nope instead,, the drs body language spoke volumes he pushed his chair back manoeuvred his arms in a i give up fashion and told me there’s nothing else he can do. The body does heal itself and If I ever want treatment I’m more than welcome to come back. He then show me 3 exercises to strengthen my core 10 reps 20x’s a day. So after 15-20 yrs of discomfort and these days that discomfort is excruciating, painful and debilitating. All I need was to do a bunch of sit-ups and my calcified labrum, would fix its self and degeneration of my joint would stop, both torn gluteus tendon will heal and stay healed cuz my now punctuated labrum should be soft and spongy and doing its job proper now that I have a six pack? Yes that’s sarcasm! I left crying I cried for the rest of the day. I went there with hope…. Hope that I can one day go a walk and not have to pay the price later. Hope they won’t do hip surgery when I’m 80 and I never get out hospital. Hope that I can live the second half of my life with less pain than the first half just hope that I can have just one day pain free I don’t even know what that feels like anymore it’s been so long ? Like I’m only 48: and the last 15-20 have been physically brutal. Im in the best shape I ever been but also the most pain too. I felt insulted I felt like I was being treated in a discriminatory manner I just can’t put my finger on what his issue was with me.
My knee flared up again so I figured I’d put in my honest experience that I had when I went initially. I want to get it out there and say that my experiences with Dr. Gregg senior were excellent, which prompted me to return when I blew my knee out. I booked in and was hoping to get dr. Gregg sr., but unfortunately got jr. Jamie. So I was playing badminton, and have a history of bad knees but nothing that ever gave me issues. I jumped to hit a smash and landed on my knee funny and apparently had a subLuxation. I told Jamie that I dislocated my knee and was sharply corrected—not what you expect since doctors should know people aren’t experts, but no big deal. Then after doing the exam he was not able to find anything wrong with it despite the fact I was unable to traverse stairs without a crutch for thr first time in my life after being historically healthy. This went on for at least 1-2 weeks so I went in. After finding nothing Jamie gave it the ol’ wait and see diagnosis which is fine if you have better things to do in your day. I asked if there is anything else that we could do like an ultrasound. To which he replied “an ultrasound?! Why would you get an ultrasound?” Not know I would have to become a medical expert I returned “I don’t know—what else would you get”. He later changed his tone and said that I could get an MRI but those are 800 as if I appeared as though I couldn’t afford it. A person goes to the doctor for advice and action plans, not to leverage of public health care. Anyway the point is this: I had a great experience with Dr. Gregg Sr. And that’s why I returned, but the version 2.0 is unfortunately arrogant and elitist. Make sure to know which Gregg you will get, and potentially be ready to defend your questions as you can get into it.
Happy to have found the physio clinic close to my new neighborhood. I too praise Nicole as she made my appointments comfortable, she was personable, helpful and alleviated the pain I was having.
Well looked after and they are so organized! More medical facilities can take a lessen but never have to wait more than a few minutes which is so pleasant!
Negative experience with Dr. Gregg. His follow up appointment was just him trying to argue with me about my ankle. He went so far as to doubt the UT and MRI tests, i guess hes knows more than the techinician. He didn't even perscribe me any physio, I had to go to another doctor for help.
I've been seeing Nicole for a few years now and wouldn't want to see anyone else! Truly the best experience I've had with a physiotherapist. I really appreciate how knowledgable she is and her willingness to answer questions/explain processes. She is easy to talk to and makes me feel very comfortable. Thanks so much Nicole!
