Located in North Vancouver, BC we are full service moving and storage company, serving Vancouver's North Shore & the Greater Vancouver area. Our family owned business has been helping people move for over 50 years.

Story

Since 1961, Edgemont Moving & Storage has been serving the North Shore and Greater Vancouver areas. What began as a family-owned local delivery service for North & West Vancouver has evolved into a business that is still family owned, but has expanded to incorporate long distance and international relocations through our affiliation with Atlas Van Lines. We also offer full service air or sea shipping around the world.
Whether you’re moving on the North Shore or Greater Vancouver, requiring extra storage space or relocating to other reaches of the world, we can move your possessions safely and efficiently wherever you go!!

We have used Edgemont Movers a few times and have always been impressed with their professionalism. We have found Edgemont employees to be trustworthy, diligent and frankly, very likeable. They are caring too. We a had minor incident (one glass frame on a degree broke) and it was immediately noted, pointed out to me and voluntarily replaced, all at the company's expense. Mike has now retired and will be missed especially seeing as he supported me when I thought Edgemont had lost two of my degrees. (I felt horrible. They hadn't. I had stored them in the back of my closet!) Lydia, in Accounting, is a treasure too. Grant the owner, has owned the business for 33 years and knows what he is doing. All employees are heavily screened for background checks/sobriety, etc...which is very important to know when you are basically inviting strangers into your home and asking them to lift, take, move or store your own personal belongings. Book early!! My guess is Edgemont Movers is the most popular moving company in the North Shore. They are in demand for a reason. (And no, I am not related to any employee.)

Very professional staff - they moved extremely heavy hand made furniture, with special care and ease - strongly recommended!

This is our third move w Edgemont Moving. David Crawford, the mgr/owner, is a superb guy, as is their service. Always on time and on budget. Never any problems and the crew this past time in particular were very professional, very respectful.

They let us pick up boxes and packing supplies the day before moving and helped us load them into our vehicle (they had recycled boxes which was nice) Movers were efficient and careful. The whole experience was positive.
