Ed Sackfield Arena & Fitness Studio

Sometimes I walk my dog here from 2km away. We like the play area and the 2 baseball fields.nnLast week, I signed up for the yoga class, and walked through the interior. Boy this place looks brand new , quite alot better than there arenas around in this area.

2024 February 3nAn arena with two north and south rinks, snack bar and a fair amount of seating but never enough parking that there's overflow to the school parking next door. Connected with the park. Overall a nice arena.

2 skating rinks, gym upstairs and lots of seatings on the steps. A new exterior playground area for kids. I like their exercise room with big windows and mirror. The only problem is the parking. Limited spaces especially when all activities are on at the same time

This facility is a solid community hub. I like that it has both an NHL-sized and an Olympic-sized ice pad, which makes it great for hockey and skating. The fitness centre is modern, with a walking track, cardio and strength equipment, and even accessible machines. It feels clean and well-maintained, and the staff are generally helpful. Downsides? It can get crowded during peak hours, and parking isn’t always the easiest when events overlap. Still, it’s a reliable spot for both sports and fitness.
