Large, clean rooms. It is a bit dated, but as note, clean and well maintained. For the price it cannot be beat. Within its price range it is a five star. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. But do not think you are getting a five star hotel, it is not. But it is nice for a 3 star hotel, really nice. Simple breakfast of waffles, toast, cerral, and fruit (bananas, apple, and oranges) and donuts. Along with milk, orange juice, coffee, and hot water for tea.

This place does everything right, even the price. Great clean rooms, breakfast, nice people. They even have menus of the area restaurants and a common room to play a board game...use of a microwave. Very nice updated motel. We will be back if we need to stay in Manistique again. Oh and the water is softer, not rock hard like most motels.

It's OK. The rooms are large but not much in them, not sure why with all the space there isn't any seating other than a cheap little table and chairs. It is not sound proof, I heard the bar flies coming back in the middle of the night and then again in the morning the early risers weren't very quiet. Not the hotel's fault people are rude and inconsiderate but not sure why with those big rooms the head of the bed needed to be on the wall that shared the hallway considering the lack of soundproofing. Bed could be replaced, I slept fine but it was a little springy. Wifi was ok, lost connection a few times and on my phone I had to reboot once to get back on. Does have a small work out room so I used the tread mill which I appreciated. Breakfast did offer some apples and bananas otherwise it was just the usual lousy fare that you get with a free motel breakfast.

Clean, accommodating, good size rooms, and my mother-in-law had a joining room, handicap accessible 😀 Free light breakfast.

Room is incredibly spacious. Very clean. A nice modern room. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. In a nice location walk across the street and you are on the boardwalk for the Great Lake. Rooms are all on ground level.
